Put simply, I wrote 365+ articles (700-1000 words outside of the odd exception) that aimed to review and discuss a match a year throughout history. This is the sum total of my work. £4.99 in UK money, on Kindle Unlimited for those who own it. Do enjoy! https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B079GRD3X7/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1517420205&sr=8-1&keywords=wrestling+365 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B079GRD3X7/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1517420369&sr=1-1&keywords=wrestling+365

That is really useful. Thanks. I was also looking at creative process tips I guess - like, what do people do to do their podcast? Tape all at once? Segment by segment? Notes? Scripts? Etc etc. Just what do people do when they do a podcast. I will admit that I am a bit of an outlier since I do a podcast by myself. As for the how: I tape in segments and will clean them up with production as needed as I go along. No scripts, but I make notes about items I want to say, jokes I might want to make, etc. I like to have an idea of what I'll be doing but also leave some room to riff as needed. Practice, practice, practice....helps for you to find your voice. Before I started Greetings From Allentown, I did 2-3 practice pods. That is also useful in terms of learning how to edit, etc in whatever program you use, like Audacity. Thanks for the advice. Yours is one of the main ones I listen to and had made me want to try once more (I tried to do one a few years back).

British pantomime and UK indies actually having heel heat
kingliam replied to Sean Liska's topic in Pro Wrestling
I also feel that the UK bubble is significantly smaller, so most UK fans would have heard (through social media, for example) promoters, wrestlers and super fans talking about booing a heel if you like them, because that is their job. Not saying that works for everyone, but if you listen to Tuesday Night Jaw as a PROGRESS fan and Jim Smallman and people like Scroobius Pip say that, you are more likely to buy into that as a concept. Jim Smallman has already said that even during the Jimmy Havoc heel run, there were still people in the crowd who would cheer him, though it would literally be the odd one or two. It clearly doesn't work for everyone. -

Hello Since there are a lot of people on here who create them, I thought a thread with some tips and suggestions about creating a podcast could be useful. I've tried it myself a couple of times and have struggled, so any ideas around the creative process would be much appreciated.

Really looking forward to this.

Just started a new column over at Kayfabe Today http://kayfabetoday.com/index.php/2017/06/04/chasing-the-storm-a-retrospective-of-jushin-thunder-liger-episode-1/ The idea is to watch Liger from the beginning via New Japan World. Liger was my favourite wrestler when I was really young, so primarily this is about seeing if my opinions on him hold up, as well as discovering matches I didn't see when I was pre-teen, pretty much. Thought this might be along the lines of something people here might like, so enjoy! The updates won't be regular regular, but I'll post whenever I add a column.
