This was a really rewarding match to check out. It may have peaked in the first 5 minutes with both guys trading awesome wristlock reversals. I'm absolutely dead tired of wrestlers flipping out of wristlocks so the fact they made it cool here speaks volumes. Match had everything: brilliant athletic spots, pin-point accurate technique, fierce strike exchanges, and everything made sense. Prince tagging Saulnier with a savate kick to the face also caught me off guard. I didn't think the draw ending was as flat as Phil described it, they clearly kicked it up a bit. This match feels a bit weird to give a YES in project, for all we know there may be a dozen Prince matches in the archive that blow this away, but for now it's a really good, unique bout.

I'm writing this review now on just having got home from seeing the show. It should be available to watch on their streaming service in a few days and this match is really worth seeking out. It's for the Progress World Title. Tyler is the "Big Strong Boy" who's facing a huge strong man in the champion Walter. Walter (got a live violin duo playing his entrance theme) totally dominated the opening half, lots of basic wrestling and tests of strength type manoeuvres, however hard he fights nothing Tyler does seems to have any significant effect on Walter. It's like he's just made out of brick. The fighting spills out to the floor at one point and Tyler manages to reverse a suplex attempt into one of his own to the floor! I don't think I've ever heard a simple vertical suplex get such a loud pop from the crowd. Pete Dunne and Trent Seven are now at ringside urging Tyler on, as well are the crowd who are 75% loudly behind him (and the remaining 25% is mostly a vocal pro-Walter section). Now even the pop for the suplex wasn't as loud as the huge roar for Tyler as he's stuck in a sleeper hold urging him to fight out of it. It's remarkable how a match mostly consisting of moves that wouldn't look out of place in the 1970s is getting the biggest reactions of the show and feels like a real big match showdown. The match reaches it very logical outcome at the end. Yet another strong title defence for Walter. ****1/2

Very good tag which was mostly built around the veteran team of Devil & Yamazaki rudo'ing it up and cutting off their younger opponents who were firing back with plenty of spunk. This was probably the best Devil has looked as she was quite the thrashing machine here throwing stiff headbutts and punches and dropping the girls with massive Gorilla slams and powerbombs. She did some cool „monster“ selling aswell and reminded me a bit of Andre. Yamazaki wasn't in the match much but she did work a few cool exchanges and she once again acting like an even girlier Takeshi Ono, running in to kick people in the head and stomp on their hands to break up submissions. Kazama was laying into folks with brutal kicks again and there were plenty of violent exchanges in the process. Kandori was probably the most subdued but it was established that she could end the match at any time so that resulted in a few neat moments. Really effective match with some strong double team work from Devil & Yamazaki and a clever finish.
