Four Faces of Fear hype! Cornette hypes Thanksgiving Thunder: Rock & Rolls vs Bodies in four consecutive matches over four consecutive days, with the titles on the line in each one -- Texas Death, Falls Count Anywhere, Barbed Wire cage match and Street fight. If that doesn't draw in this group, what would?

Cornette says that after what has happened the Rock & Roll Express are anxious to get rid of the Heavenly Bodies, whilst the Bodies have always been anxious to get rid of the Rock & Rolls. The Express went to Bob Armstrong and said that they wanted some kind of showdown, some way to get rid of the Heavenly Bodies out of professional wrestling for good. Armstrong came to him with their idea and he accepted. On the Thanksgiving Thunder weekend, from 11/26 to 11/29 it will be 'the four faces of fear', the four most dangerous types of match in wrestling on four consecutive days: texas death match, falls count anywhere, barbed wire cage and Smoky Mountain street fight. He goes on to say that it's all coming down Thanksgiving Thunder and no-one can come through that without getting hurt, and that's exactly what they want!

For some reason it does feel as though they are rushing through this feud, but I don't know how anyone cannot be hyped by this proposal and especially with how great Ricky Morton has been since he debuted.

I'm not sure if it's rushing through the feud or making up for lost time. But when you think about it, how much more buildup does Rock 'n' Roll vs. Cornette really need?

It seems like they're trying to get the fans to come to more than one event in the series, and if the venues are close enough, that might just be doable. To Pete's point above, of course any one of those matches could end a career on its own; that's the point of the series. We're not really supposed to think that each team will be able to make it through all four matches, and that adds to the suspense and raises the demand for tickets, as any of the four nights could be the night that Rock 'n' Roll send the Bodies and Corny out on three matching stretchers, never to return.

This is what Sting-Jake should have been, although maybe a twelve-match series would have taken too long. But a five or six-match series culminating at Havoc would have been just the ticket.
