Loss
Snow's selling of Morton's fury early on is sublime. And the dive off the top of the cage, while not that high of a jump compared to some of the bigger dives in wrestling history, still makes more a great visual. Snow just really knows how to incorporate the martial arts stuff into his regular arsenal. It's starting to depress me how much his career fell short. After a ref bump, Morton gets a piledriver, which a great revenge spot. In a great finish, Unabomb comes from under the ring, and we find that the Unabomb at ringside was an impostor. Wrestlers try to jump in the cage to make a save and get punched down, and suddenly this looks like an Omni house show. Finally, they get into the cage by crawling under the ring and Snow and Unabomb bail. I am loving this feud, and from what I could tell, the match was excellent leading into the finish. After the match, we get a taped promo from the Rock & Rolls vowing that this isn't over. Fine by me.
Tim Evans
Chip Kessler doing his best Jim Ross attitude era impersonation. Good match and angle. Unabomb looked so bad ass going from under the ring.
El-P
Chip Kessler is not only a creepy looking no blinking guy, he's also an annoying announcer. Yeah, it seems like a very good match, Morton just refuse to decline it seems. It's also funny to see how they didn't even try to pretend that this was about the Rock'n Roll Express anymore, it's alla bout Ricky Morton who just happen to have an ugly and mute partner. That finish makes me think Cornette booked that Diesel vs Bret Hart match in early 1996. Al Snow seemed to have peaked in SMW indeed. PeteF3
Kessler does the most absurd "righteous indignation" act in the history of announcing. WE'VE GOT UNABOMB INSIDE, WE'VE GOT UNABOMB OUTSIDE, WE'VE GOT UNABOMB INSIDE. HE MUST HAVE BEEN UNDER THE DAMN RING!! Great finish and angle anyway, with the babyfaces having to crawl under the ring and through the hole to make the save. Morton also takes a sick power bomb during all this.
