Gene points out that Flair has been strangely quiet about Hogan for a while. Flair takes the bait, and says he doesn't blame him for not showing up at Spring Stampede. They are making Flair as heelish as they possibly can without outright turning him yet, I guess because he has to get through Slamboree first. Decent promo.

They really put the Slamboree match on the backburner as it was the third point of emphasis Flair brought up. In retrospect, I think this is Saturday Night I would have started the Hogan segments on and then the next week after Slamboree, Flair could have really started the turn and went after Hogan.

Slamboree was really poorly built. An surprise opponent never work anyway, especially not for the World title. I can't even tell what is supposed to be the main event for this show. Flair is just killing time waiting for Hogan again. Good promo considerong he doesn't have much to say. I never thought I would say that, but I actually can't wait to see Hogan show up because the TV has rather boring, Flair booking didn't improved the TV product.
