"The other day, I told Stu to act his age and he died." Good Lord, Jerry.

 

Lawler brings out Bret as his guest before ambushing him with Diesel and Shawn as surprise guests. They trade a few lame barbs at each other before Diesel suckerpunches Bret and he and Shawn work him over. Lawler even joins in the fun. In a nice visual, referees hit the ring to try to break things up and Diesel scares them all away. Still, Diesel was the challenger and all the heat was on Shawn and Lawler.

Stu and Helen are favorite targets of Jerry. He seemed lost on commentary once Bret went to WCW. Lawler gets wise with Bret before he introduces his other guests on the King’s Court. Set up with Diesel hitting the Jacknife. Couldn’t help but notice Shawn standing higher (with the use of a chair) than Diesel holding up the WWF Title.

Lawler had some vicious things to say about Stu and Helen. He pisses off Bret then calls out Shawn and Diesel as surprise guests. After about a minute of yammering Diesel pearl harbors Bret and Shawn joins in. Lawler even lays in a few licks. A bunch of officials come out to break it up but Diesel acts like a wall to prevent them from stopping the beat down. This was okay.

Neat seeing all of these characters in a ring together. Lawler's jokes on Stu and helen were classic. The beatdown was pretty good on Bret and I thought it made Diesel and the powerbomb look strong. Lawler jumping with glee saying he had to get in on this was awesome as well. Enjoyed this segment immensely.

"Do you remember what I did to you last King of the Ring, or is there so much oil on your head that it slipped your mind?" Pretty good segment overall, though Lawler was clearly the most entertaining talker of the three. Still was too early to be pushing Diesel as a World title challenger at this point.
