Looked unprotected. An approvement on the last match but has issues when they are down the mat cause you just can’t see from the camera view. Both a chain by Candido and Tammy’s hair spray are avoided by Tracey. Smothers does a suplex but I guess it gets reversed as I can’t see other than Tracey’s boots in the air. Loss Posted June 23, 2012 Author Report Share Posted June 23, 2012 It seems like if they really wanted to re-establish the belt as something meaningful, they should have given these guys 30 minutes or longer and told them to shoot for a classic. The match doesn't feel as "big" as a tournament final should after the whole ECW thing. Aside from that, they had a very good match. Again, the camera work isn't that good, so some of it doesn't get captured. But they worked hard and kept the crowd. The bump Candido took off the suplex to the floor was pretty crazy looking. You can tell they're familiar with each other, because they have their sequences down really well. All of the fakeouts spots and surprise counters look great. I just wish this didn't feel so midcard. Exposer Posted July 11, 2012 Report Share Posted July 11, 2012 This was a very good match. I expected it with these guys. It did feel unimportant though and that was saddening. These two have tremendous chemistry though and all of their exchanges ruled. Candido's bump to the floor off of the suplex was insane. PeteF3 Posted July 5, 2014 Report Share Posted July 5, 2014 Good match with both guys hitting their spots and sequences perfectly, but even accounting for the small-time setting this really didn't feel epic enough in scope to qualify as the finals of a "major" title tournament.
