He throws him into a studio ladder and then finishes the job. It was supposed to be a Chris Champion squash that Lawler took over. If you like angry Lawler, this is the episode to check out. This was a good end to the USWA stuff for this date. This show did a great job of putting over Lawler and makes me want to see his match with Valiant. Maybe he was just tired after beating Champion half to death, but he's a lot more subdued here except for a brief segment with a stepladder. Next stop: The Boogie Woogie Man. GSR Posted December 8, 2016 Report Share Posted December 8, 2016 The Destroyer was scheduled to face Chris Champion but that isn’t going to happen due to what happened earlier. Jerry Lawler is back out, gets in the ring and spits water at The Destroyer and takes Champion’s place in the match. Not as much of a beat down as previously, but a squash that Lawler wins after a fist drop off the middle turnbuckle.
