Chris and Toni have reconciled, apparently. It'll be Chris vs. Austin under "Queensbury Rules"--any rulebreaking is an automatic DQ--along with penalty box rules. Any interference from one of the valets puts them in the box for 1 minute. Toni spells out her plan: Jeannie will interfere first and get thrown into the cage, at which point Toni will blatantly slap the referee so she can get in the cage with her. It's a Prisoner: Cell Block H Match! Oh, and the winner gets to pick the gimmick match for another mixed tag the following week. This is a tad overbooked but Adams & Toni do a very good job of spelling all this stuff out.

They really reached through all the grab bag of gimmick matches for this feud but somehow it kind of fits and doesn't feel too overblown. Adams does a good promo. Toni explaining that she wanted in the penalty box with Jeannie was a nice touch and I am honestly glad that toni and Chris are back together.

Toni and Chris are back together again. Queensbury rules match. No kicking and punching. Chris always is sick and tired of things. There is a penalty box for the women if they get out of line. I understand a closed fist is illegal but don’t see the problem with kicking. But any of those will lead to losing the match. Toni plans on ending up in the penalty box with Jeannie.

Nice explanation of the upcoming bout from Chris. I've heard of matches like this before, and the heel almost always ends up getting themselves disqualified somehow. I've heard of and seen the penalty box in action too, and it's usually kind of lame. Basically, they're teasing the two girls being locked in a cage, but they just had that and Percy interfered. It's to the point now where we either need something extreme like a barbed wire........oh, wait, we had that all the way back in May. Maybe a mixed.......nope, we had those too. How about a cage......nope, just had that last week, as I said. Get the picture? What could have possibly blown this off if Jarrett had stayed on TV in Dallas? I doubt that even he knew at this point.

I like the idea of Toni blatantly slapping the referee just so she can be locked in the box with Jeannie. Can you imagine Bronko Lubich anticipating this and trying to run away from a slap, only to fall over his own feet? It would be better comedy than a midget match!

I'm fairly sure that if there had been an angle reuniting Chris and Toni, we'd have seen it. More than likely, Jarrett realized that a breakup would have made this whole mess even more confusing and simply junked the idea, hoping that the fans would forget about it. Wise choice.

Craig Johnson is joined by Chris and Toni Adams, and this time they have a ‘Queensbury Rules’ match scheduled. That means that there will be no kicking, no punching and no interference from the ladies, otherwise they will end up in a penalty box. Chris says that even in a cage match last night, that’s meant to keep everybody out and keep the two girls in, somehow Percy Pringle and Steve Austin still managed to interfere. Toni and he are sick of it and something needs to be done about it. He went to the USWA officials and asked them to let him, and all the fans who watch USWA wrestling, choose a match where they can hopefully have no interruptions. They told him that he can’t have everything his own way, so he then asked if he could have something that Steve Williams knows nothing about, a professional wrestling match ‘Queensbury Rules’. He explains it’s a scientific wrestling match and if Austin does anything against the rules, if he punches, kicks, gauges an eye, he wins. If he wins that match, then he gets the match of his choice, and he wants all the fans to write in and tell him what type of match they want to see him and Toni in against Steve and Jeannie. The final stipulation for the ‘Queensbury Rules’ match is that should either of the girls interfere, they will be locked up in the penalty box for one minute. Toni says that she knows Jeannie is going to interfere and end up in that penalty box, and when she does, she is going to go up to the referee and slap him in the face so she can be in there with her! Then she is going to tear her limb from limb because the war has only just begun!

I’m guessing that Chris spoke to Toni ‘at home’ like he said he was going to and they just reconciled. A bit of a damp squib to that part the angle as it was taking an interesting turn with that storyline.
