goodhelmet
He had 2 title defenses. How many times has Brock defended the belt?
The Chief
They brought in Dusty just to do some pretaped backstage segments? That'll show him for going off script by cutting off Stephanie. Tell me about it. I was looking forward to some "I NEGLECTED YA!"
sek69
That really has been the biggest plot hole of the last year, Bryan had to be stripped in storyline because you can't have the belt not be defended regularly, yet that's exactly what's been happening the last year. They don't seem to realize that either, since they had Cena make the threat to hold the title hostage if he won it.
hammerva
He had 2 title defenses. How many times has Brock defended the belt? I think Brock has only defended it twice (rematch against Cena and 3 way match at Royal Rumble). I only remember one title defense for Bryan
goodhelmet
The first one was an angle (HHH vs. Bryan; Shield come out to save Bryan) but I counted it anyway since the referee rang the bell. The night after Extreme Rules, he had a non-title against ADR so he has that going for him also.
Mini Bennett
Do my eyes deceive me or am I actually seeing people on PWO get excited for Cena vs. Rusev?
Parties
Rollins isn't a great promo, but he's getting better and I buy his character more than whatever Ziggler, Reigns, and Bryan are supposed to be. I enjoy a heel not liking the Daily Show, even if it sounds ridiculous stated aloud. Winced at points during Ziggler's promo, and it's crazy that they're doing this match here (or do they do it again on the PPV?) Interesting to see Ziggler and Ryback each campaigning to be the leader of their weird triad.
goodhelmet
Do my eyes deceive me or am I actually seeing people on PWO get excited for Cena vs. Rusev? That shouldn't surprise you. People here have been praising Cena in big time matches for years and Rusev has also been praised heavily at this board. It doesn't hurt that he is the one heel they have actually bothered to protect in the past year.
Mini Bennett
I agree it should be fun. I just remember people here immediately shiting on the idea when it was first brought up maybe a month ago.

I just remember people here immediately shiting on the idea when it was first brought up maybe a month ago. I think people are afraid Rusev's undefeated streak goes to Cena, a guy who doesn't need it. But there's no doubt the match(es) will be very good-great. sek69
So how exactly is having both guys act heelish supposed to get Reigns and Bryan more over?
Matt D
America loves jerks? As for Cena/Rusev, I think everyone's excited for that, at Wrestlemania 32.

hammerva
So apparently Roman Reigns strategy tonight was to tell people how boring Big Show vs Daniel Bryan is. Unlike Bryan who can actually talk about a match without sending like a dolt

Matt D
I thought Bryan was dangerously good on commentary, to the point where JBL obviously got the instruction to steer the conversation back to the match.
cm funk
That was a pretty good brawl between Reigns and Bryan to close the show Pretty good RAW tonight overall, much better than it has been lately and a pretty strong go-home show I thought

I think everyone wants a Cena-Rusev program... that makes Rusev stronger. Totally true, but this idea that every unbeaten streak needs to be broken by some up and comer who "needs it" is flawed. If that happened every time it'd be predictable. Underdogs can't win in that scenario every time, then they wouldn't be underdogs. Sometimes the monster heel who's unbeaten needs to get beat by the top dog. But just not their first match.
Strummer
That was actually a hot segment at the end. Both looked like big stars there. So the logical finish for the PPV is Brock coming in to destroy both guys or do they just have Reigns go over (Sheamus return?)

NintendoLogic
I recall being met with disbelief when I suggested that the plan was to build Rusev up to feed to Cena. Also, Reigns no-selling the chairshot in that brawl was pretty bad.
