Loss
Terry Garvin (!) brings out a blind man in a wheelchair. He is wearing sunglasses and is in a wheelchair. Brother Love confirms that the man cannot walk or see. Brother Love asks people at home to put their hands on the screen, then puts his own hand on the guy's face and suddenly, he can walk and see! "REJOICE!" he screams. "REJOICE!" This is SOOOOO over the top and incredible and creepy and funny all at once. Outstanding.
flyonthewall2983
Weird they would do something like that towards the end of the character's run. Feels like something they'd do more towards the beginning to get him over.
Phil Austin
Was this not what finished the Brother Love character as the 'funny spoof' by Vince was received so badly?
shoe
I thought it was pretty tasteless. I'm sure this did or was supposed to tie in with the Snakes angle.
soup23
Brother Love shows enters into its final phase and this may have been the point of no return. Just an out there skit with Love healing a wheelchair man that may me think the tv had turned to a Benny Hinn special for some reason. PeteF3
Love is hilarious here in his most overt religious satire yet, as he establishes himself as an early champion of the Make-a-Wish Foundation, granting Brother Paul's wish to see and walk. Who knows what the fuck the point of all this was, but I guess this was relegated to Prime Time for a reason.
Kevin Ridge
I love that the fans boo when the guy says he can see. Brother Love is a true faith healer. I can feel the love. Then the guy is able to get up to his feet but just walks away backstage. He didn’t seem too enthusiastic.

garretta
When Sean Mooney and Lord Alfred Hayes have a grand old time tearing you to pieces, it's time to hang it up. They couldn't have done this segment before now, because if they had Brother Love would have been relegated to the Wrestlecrap scrap heap in short order. Absolutely no one except maybe Bruce Prichard takes this segment one bit seriously, and I'm not even sure about Prichard. It's too contrived and silly to even be insulting, really. The funniest part was at the very end, when Sean and His Lordship reveal that Paul, the man who was just supposedly "healed", was the cabdriver who brought them in from the Huntsville, Alabama (the site of the taping) airport that day. He'd also apparently carried their bags. For the record, the very night this aired on Prime Time, Brother Love's final set of appearances for more than four years were taped in Macon, Georgia. Interestingly enough, the first segment was the start of the Warrior/Taker feud that would blossom later in the summer, as both Brother Love and the debuting Paul Bearer predicted that Warrior would lose to Savage at Mania VII. We should have that segment when we get to February.
dawho5
HEALED! This is the kind of stuff that the WWF did well. You know it's all BS, but it's so over the top and done with the right commitment that it works as a schlocky parody of a televangelist.
