Lawler browbeats Travis for having no friends, pride, or life, which is why he lashes out to destroy other people's property. Lawler is veering dangerously close to his old heel days of burying his opponent. It's a really odd tack for Lawler to be talking about Travis' scrawniness. This is the wrong territory for that kind of promo, and Travis looks to be in better shape than a lot of the rest of the USWA roster. Lawler takes nearly 5 minutes to say what could have been summed up in about two.

I haven't seen the big angle yet, but I agree with the general consensus just based on what little I've seen from Travis in this run so far. Whatever he did to Lawler, he's not worth this kind of anger; he's had virtually no career compared to the King, and his main claim to fame, as I've said before, is doing a second-rate Honky Tonk Man impression. Meanwhile, Embry and the Texans are still running wild, and Lawler apparently can't give a care less, which is completely out of character for him. There's something off about this, and Memphis usually runs its angles a lot more logically no matter how crazy some of them may seem.

I apologize if I sound a bit off the mark here; I'm trying to fit in some quick promos before a night of dinner and Wild Card baseball, and the twenty plus minutes of the original angle that began this feud simply doesn't fit into my schedule at the moment.
