Before the match, DDP tried to attack Savage in his limo - even kicking in the window - before Liz managed to stop him before they sped off.

Ultimo totally blew his head balancing spot, which I think he overused in matches anyway. The commentary is horrible at getting this over. Even Tenay does his commentary as if everyone reads the Observer and just cares about these guys because of the stuff they can do. When he's asked who the legal man is and can't answer, it's a little embarrassing.

This was another good six-man on Nitro involving the luchadores and it got over with the Boston crowd for sure. I don't think WCW was specifically out to bury these guys, but I also don't think they had any idea what they had. Psicosis is the glue that holds this one together.

DDP could have really screwed up his leg/foot if he got cut open on the glass window.

That was embarrassing Ultimo! You should hide your face in shame. Dragon and Psicosis were the best pairing. Stuff with Calo and Parka didn't look right. Everyone was hitting their dives at the end though. Parka whacks Calo with a chair after the match as Juventud and Dragon just watch.

First appearance for Siver King ! Yes, this one is a little bit sloppy in spots, and Psychosis didn't cover Ultimo's fuck up well at all, not putting the boots to him or even laughing at his ass like Liger would. The commentary sucked and Tenay looked lost too. Yeah, decent stuff with some fun sequences, but a far cray from the previous week's trio match.

Liz trying to Barry Windham's DDP was nice, but where in the hell did she run afterward once the limo stormed off ?

Good to see Liz take an active role for once, preventing further damage by DDP.

About two seconds after Dragon's blown headstand spot, Psicosis makes you forget about it by taking an absolutely loony bump over the turnbuckles to the floor. There's some good hard-hitting action here, especially the kicks from Silver King (who looks really good in limited time in his debut) and Ultimo. Not as good as the previous week and Larry was an ass again, but still a fun match with some new spots. La Parka begins his Chairman gimmick, first using his familiar wooden chair as a springboard and then destroying Calo with it after the match.

Dragon cleanly taps his upcoming PPV opponent and we have a main event consisting of a tag match that will co-main event the next PPV. Is this 1997 Nitro or 2015 Raw? And incidentally, if Larry is actually telling the truth and that he really wrestled Dr. Wagner, goddamn that's a match we all need to see.

Larry Zbyszko worked against Dr. Wagner in February 1976, during a Jim Crockett-promoted tour of Guatemala. White mask and white tights, and his name was Dr. Wagner," recalled Zbyszko. "I remember the match vaguely. It was good match. He was a good wrestler. It wasn't like, in those days, the luchadores flying around off the ropes, it was a wrestling match." (What Zbyszko remembers more is on February 4, 1976, the day the wrestlers flew out, an earthquake devastated Guatemala City, killing more than 22,000 people.)

So... I guess that we don't have footage of that.
