Loss Posted September 14, 2013 Author Report Share Posted September 14, 2013 Vince gets out his question, but before Bret can respond, Shawn and Hunter cut in on the Titantron to poke fun at Bret for getting old, and to replay Shawn picking his nose with the Canadian flag last week. Hunter also points out that he has a larger penis than Bret. There's heat building to set up a match and there's petty personal shots and a lot of this feels more like the latter. Shawn is awesome in this role, but he's almost *too* effective. 16 years later, I'm watching him in these segments and he STILL pisses me off! Bret challenges either one of them to come to the ring and face him right now and they taunt him and officially name themselves Degeneration X. Bret says they won't even make it to Survivor Series. This is total bury-the-opponent bullshit that's worse than the worst Jerry Lawler stuff from 1990. If "everybody" is younger and better than Bret, why the fuck should we care if HBK beats him? They officially name themselves DX here as they interrupt a scheduled Bret interview on the tron to poke fun at the Hart Foundation. Shawn has said he's beaten everyone in the Hart Foundation & will take the belt from Bret again at Survivor Series. They mock Bret with video of Shawn shoving the Canadian flag up his nose from last week. HHH brags about beating Bret & says he's bigger than him in more ways than one.
