Matt D
This is certainly good news.
peachchaos
Now we're talking. A nice variety here and I'm interested in nearly every clip. More Piper-Valentine is always a good thing. I have to laugh at them putting up the build to that Funk-Dustin match after we got it up on YouTube last week.
NickH
This match intrigues me. A Race for The Yellow RoseWatch the match that puts David Von Erich on the map as a contender for the NWA Heavyweight Championship as he battles Harley Race in a 2-Out-of-3 Falls Match. – (WCCW - 8/15/1977) David had only debuted 2 months prior and according to wikipedia it was a 30 min draw. And Harley in 1977 was awesome. Looking forward to seeing it.
Hawkeye12
Looking foward to these, when Yokozuna's match as Kokina didn't make the Unreleased set a few months ago I thought maybe it had been lost but here it is. The Network is rapidly becoming what I had hoped it would be from day one with all the updates and still so much more to go.
Beast
Looks like the Legends Battle Royal is from a show that wasn't a taped live event so maybe this is the first time its been seen? Also is the first time the RVD/Jericho match is being released? I know it wasn't on the Big Apple Extreme Blast VHS at the time.
Grimmas
Hey, 2/3/96 is where I am at on ECW watch through, so I will break until that is released to watch that in full.
DGinnetty
The Legends battle royale has been available in trading circles since the VHS days, but I never found a copy in good quality. So this should be fun!
Mrzfn
Looks like the Legends Battle Royal is from a show that wasn't a taped live event so maybe this is the first time its been seen? I've seen this one before, so it must have been out there in some form.
Ricky Jackson
"Meet The Lugar Percy Pringle (Paul Bearer) introduces us to The Lugar (Lex Luger). (CWF TV - 10/16/1984)" This is how Luger debuted in Florida?
Migs
Isn't this the first time the Vader-Simmons title change has been released?
flyonthewall2983
I think clips from the match are on the last episode of Saturday Night from the batch they put up last month. I wonder how today's good financial news will affect the Network.
C.S.
Isn't this the first time the Vader-Simmons title change has been released? Oh wow! That's on there? Holy grail material, for me at least. I've always wanted to see it. Am I expecting a classic match? No. But I've had 20 years to build it up in my mind and imagine how it went. Some really iconic stuff there - Jake the Snake debuting and ripping the crucifix off Sting, the lottery to give Simmons the title shot, and of course Simmons' shocking victory to become the first black World Heavyweight Champion. I'm not expecting the Jake or lottery footage though.
Ricky Jackson
You won't get any of that because it's Vader winning the strap back not Simmons winning
landy1987
This is the match where Simmons lost the title back to Vader, which hasnt been shown in full before. And I bet the Legends Battle Royal footage is just a video they ripped from YouTube
sek69
Watching 1983 Mid South, and DiBiase on commentary was talking about King Kong Bundy not wanting to join up with either the Rat Pack or with Skandor Akbar. I chuckled at him saying he respected Bundy, but also noting that most people have a price that can be met.

BBscout
Liger vs Eddy from Main Event, I beat this board to death trying to get a copy that didn't cut off the finish. Saw it once on wwe.com and never again. Had never even popped up on YouTube for what's been like 10 years now.
NickH
I get that feeling now that the Race/David match is the one from St Louis in 79, hopefully its not but they have mislabeled some dates in the past. The 77 match took place in Fort Worth and you would think all that footage was taped over or lost. Hope I'm wrong, hope its a new match but my expectations have lowered. C.S.
Damn it on the Vader-Simmons match being the one where Vader regaining the title. Who cares? At the time, that felt deflating - like they were giving up on Simmons (which they were, because he instantly crashed back down the card right after, as if the title reign never happened). I just realized that these don't drop until Thursday, which explains why I went looking for them last night and couldn't find anything. PeteF3
Simmons winning the title aired either almost or entirely in full on the 8/8/92 WCWSN, at least according to the Match Discussion Archive.

At the time, that felt deflating - like they were giving up on Simmons (which they were, because he instantly crashed back down the card right after, as if the title reign never happened). From what I recall from Bill Watts talking about the Simmons deal said that Simmons had flunked some drug tests, take that as what you will. Simmons also had made the comment once that Watts was a racist just without a hood. So who knows?

Loss
That Luger date has to be wrong. He debuted in 85 and won the Southern title from Wahoo McDaniel three weeks later. Maybe they are just off a year.
