I recall this match and Flair's match against Sting the previous week doing the most competitive quarter hours WCW had done in a long time. Charles Robinson refuses to count Flair down after Nash powerbombs him. Gorgeous George (Savage's valet) ends up attacking Robinson from behind, then puts on the ref's shirt to come in the ring and count the fall. Is that how it works? Immediately after the match, a group of guys in white coats come to the ring to put Flair on a hospital bed and cart him out of the building while Piper taunts him. Anyway, Flair gets pinned and then carted away to a mental institution with Arn and Roddy bickering back and forth. What a strange journey Flair has been on in four months of 1999.
