Loss
Talk about it here.
Loss
Last few minutes. Hogan is FIP. Luger is in street clothes which is a nice touch since the match was impromptu and Luger wasn't expecting to wrestle that night. Sting and Lex as a heel tag team is kinda novel. They work over Hogan's knee until Bret gets the hot tag. Not much to this match. DDP coms out with a baseball bat but Hogan cuts him off. But he had a baseball bat in his hand, which Luger used to hit Bret in the face and leave him prone to a Sting pin. Bret sells that great. Tim Evans
Surprising lack of heat for this compared to the Flair segment. Crowd just doesn't care for Hogan anymore. Heel Sting is a sight to see that's for sure. DDP tries to run in but jobs to the camera guy.
Zenjo
Bret came back to WCW wanting to have a match against Hogan. Instead he's back to being his bitch again. But it wasn't all bad news for the Hitman. If that were a real baseball bat he'd have a shattered cheek bone after that shot.
soup23
A superstar lineup but another match that feels fairly hollow given the participants. Sting and Luger do at least make a formidable pair. DDP continues to become more ancillary as the year progresses.
PeteF3
I really don't get why DDP is aligned with Sting and Luger. This feels like one of the biggest tag matches that WCW can possibly put on, but the whole feels a lot less than the sum of its parts, especially after the hot opening segment.
