He insists on being Dustin Rhodes and talks about how much Goldust sucked and nearly ruined his career. He also mentions how the Powers That Be (he said it right!) told him Dustin Rhodes is boring, but too bad, he's going to be himself. Dustin is a good talker but I hate this shooty shooty shoot shoot shoot crap. Why not just drop the vignettes if Russo didn't like the gimmick? I mean I know it was a stupid gimmick but why even do it in the first place if you are just going to bury it. Dustin buries the gimmick on its debut which doesn't make much sense until you remember shooting=ratings. And surprises=ratings. Too bad they'll shit on all this in a few months, but I can't even remember which regime turned him into the American Nightmare.
