All over the place this week like We Don’t Know Wrestling tends to be. Joined by Siobhan and JR Goldberg to discuss a variety of loosely connected topics. We talk about light-hearted wrestling pranks, Necro Butcherbeing our lord and potentially savior, and who we would most want to see shoot on green geeks. JR is also looking for Chris Colt porn tapes for research so if you can help him out there that would be awesome.

WDKW is a little different this week. This week we are joined by just one guest in the form of Harrison aka TigerMillionaire4. We don’t try and go for an hour or two of banter but instead keep things a little bit more focused as we discuss what Harrison considers one of the greatest matches he has ever seen in AUTsiders vs. Hot & Spicy from wXw’s 13th Anniversary Tour: Hamburg. We essentially do a little audio review of why he believes this match is so good. And I actually watched the match! I’m also prompted to talk about Zack Sabre Jr. against my wishes.

PS You can check out some of Harrison’s great pieces HERE!

Road to the Formerly Known As Always Bury Tanners comes to in a close with Sam being joined by Skylar. Skylar is dumb since he has been listening to We Don’t Know Wrestling since the WasimCast days. Anther shorter episode but this time we go all over the plays. Proper burials of folks that may or may not deserve it. Haven’t quite decided if any shots were unwarranted. Assume they were all righteous until otherwise noted. Listen until the end for Misawa hot takes.

This is our Bound for Glory

http://wrestlingwithwords.com/podcast/we-dont-know-wrestling-formerly-known-as-always-bury-tanners-part-i/

The Year End Wrestling Award Shows of your FRIGGIN’ DREAMS DADDY’O! Belee dat. Belee in Alabama Doink. Last year We Don’t Know Wrestling held the Always Bury Tanners and since Tanner left me to become a full-time Twitter gimmick we thought the sequel should be called the Formerly Known As Always Bury Tanners. On the panel for PART I is Fray, TJ Hawke, Tanner (I’m sorry), Devon Hales and myself. Now I steal from last year’s description.

The rules of the awards are not very simple. There will be a top 3 decided for each category in Part I of the Formerly Known As Always Bury Tanners. The top 3 will be decided by bantering, bartering, and general ruckus. Once the top 3 are set we put them in order to have a clear winner and two runner-ups. Also, if you want to tweet about the show use #WDKW so I can shamelessly RT you on that gimmick. Thanks.

It is over. It is finally over.

http://wrestlingwithwords.com/podcast/we-dont-know-wrestling-formerly-known-as-always-bury-tanners-part-ii/

There are moments in your life where you can feel the entire weight of that singular moment. Where you know what you are doing is wrong and potentially damaging to yourself yet you continue on. Welcome to Part II of Formerly Known As Always Bury Tanners in which we conclude We Don’t Know Wrestling‘s year-end awards! Things get heated from spirited debate as well as the exhaustion setting in. The panel on the show consists of Tanner, Devon Hales, Dylan Hales, Fray, TJ Hawke, and Sam (that’s a me). I currently have strong feelings on Tanner after this show and debating returning to the Always Bury Tanners next year. Thought we were tight (smh). Anyways, you probably won’t listen to the whole thing but it is an experience.

We will be deciding a consensus top ten ranking for Wrestler of the Year and Match of the Year as well as a top three for Promotion of the Year on the episode. Once again, feel free to tweet thoughts on the show with #WDKW or #FKAABTs so I can shamelessly RT or Like your tweets to give the illusion of interacting with the audience.

Grimmas doesn't even plug the show smh

I bring in the new year with Steven Graham and it quickly goes to the garbage. We talk about the PW2K0 and other stuff that no one could possibly care about because this podcast is for me. Not a great way to gain new fans but there is always next time.

Okay, did a quick podcast. Trying to get some feedback. Have been running out of JUICE as far as finding a good direction for the podcast that is both fun to listen to and fun to do.

Sam here doing a real short solo #WDKW. Honestly, looking for feedback on what you want to hear (non-Fray) from We Don’t Know Wrestling going forward. Want to make sure everyone is having a good time with it.

It back

http://wrestlingwithwords.com/podcast/we-dont-know-wrestling-calling-it-now-moty/

Match of the Year podcast without actually talking about the matches we think are Match of the Year Candidates? They said it could be done but it would be really dumb BUT WE DID IT ANYWAY! Joined this week by Dylan Hales and QT Moody for a real wonderful discussion about how we go about thinking of our MOTY lists. Every year Voices of Wrestling does a MOTY poll and I think it is a tremendous resource as well as a perfect opportunity to put over matches that might not be put over otherwise. That sort of comes up in our discussions as well as what we consider when thinking about our Match of the Year ballots. Give it a listen!

Thanks for getting this up on the feed and a really enjoyable listen.

I guess Allie-Rosermary in a cage that I saw live was a vanity pick for me. After watching 18 months of the feud ending in this great match, i couldn't exclude it from my list.

Also, I'll admit it I did some strategic voting. The Toronto tag and Trauma-Lupus were a huge internal debate for my on which should be #1. I was live in Toronto, so it had that bias, but I gave it to Trauma-Lupus for strategic reasons. I could see either #1, but strategy won out.

Chad from Where the Big Boys Play and Jason from Wrestlespective join Sam for a podcast where he can’t exactly remember what happened. There’s a lot of talk about how it is okay to fall behind in wrestling. Watch what makes you happy. Also we talk about the PWO2K and why the project is such a hoot.
