Power Pro Wrestling

Sunday February 19th

{Power Pro Wrestling opens showcasing the top talent in Mid South as we cut to the studio and see Vince McMahon standing by.}

Vince%20McMahon_zpszwue2xri.jpg

Vince: Welcome ladies and gentlemen to Power Pro Wrestling! I am Vince McMahon and fans we have got a great night of action coming your way. We are coming off the heels of a great night of Mid South Wrestling action in which Grizzly Smith announced that on March the 16th, the television championship must be defended by Mr. Wrestling II if he is medically cleared. Rick Rude and King Kong Bundy have both come out to make claim that they want their hands on the gold. The man who put Wrestling II on the shelf is Scott Casey and he has said that he is the rightful champion… he is in action tonight, let’s go to the ring!

Scott Casey defeated Omar Atlas

-Scott Casey looks good here tonight. He has got some momentum going his way but it keeping it quiet as he moves forward. We see him work over Atlas’ neck while Ross and McMahon put him over as a big challenger for Wrestling II and the title and they hope to have things cleared up in the coming weeks. Casey then hits the BRAINBUSTER for the 1…2….3!! Scott Casey looks good and he is making claim for some gold… we will see how it plays out.

*COMMERCIAL*

Jose Lothario defeated Jose Louis Rivera

-A nice showcase for Jose Lothario. We hear Ross and McMahon put over Jose’s big showdowns with the Guerreros. It is a simple enough contest with Jose Lothario nailing a cruicifix and the 1…2…3!! Jose with the victory and you know he isn’t far away from getting his hands on the Guerreros one more time!

-McMahon returns and really puts over the action thus far. He talks about the TV title situation and wonders just who will get their hands on the gold. He then turns his attention to a man who knows quite well. He talks about a newcomer to the Mid South area… Ivan Putski! He puts over the Polish Power and says that he is a former champion who is looking to make waves in Mid South and he is going to start in a big way. He talks about his previous ties with Jose Lothario and Wahoo McDaniel. He talks about him being one of the strongest men in wrestling and how he’s going to showcase it right here tonight!

Ivan Putski defeated Dominic DeNucci

-Polish Power is alive and well in Mid South and Putski looks good. He is as big as ever and brings some serious pain to DeNucci. We see him lock in the Bear Hug and that is going to be it for Dominic. Putski with the big victory as Ross and Monsoon put him over in a big way!

*COMMERCIAL*

The Fabulous Freebirds defeated Brady Boone, Tracy Smothers, & Johnny Rodz

-The Freebirds are rocking and rolling here tonight. The crowd is solidly behind them as we get to see Hayes, Gordy, and Roberts come in and do their thing. It is Roberts with the work, Gordy with the power, and Hayes with the charisma one more time. Hayes ends up finishing off Smothers with a DDT and that’s all she wrote. Ross and McMahon put these guys over and talk about the big one on one match with Hayes and Blanchard next week on MSW!

-McMahon is back in the studio and he continues to put over the Freebirds. He talks about Hayes vs Blanchard this week on MSW. He then says that Gordy may try to take claim for the Mid South Television Championship. He then turns his attention to Gino Hernandez and Tully Blanchard and talks about the streak they have been on. McMahon says that Hernandez and Blanchard are going to be in the arena for MSW this week and he’s told they have something to say to Grizzly Smith. We have them in action tonight…

Gino Hernandez & Tully Blanchard defeated Jim Brunzell & Brian Blair

-A fun contest tonight with Brunzell and Blair giving Gino and Tully just about everything they could handle. This one even gets some time as a great little showcase before Gino and Tully turn the tide and put things back into perspective. We see them double up on Blair and finishing things off with a nasty spike piledriver for the 1…2….3! They go for Brunzell who comes back with some rights and lefts before going down to his own Spike Piledriver! Gino and Tully get some big time heat with the crowd and Ross and McMahon put them over in a big way in preparation for this week’s MSW.

*COMMERCIAL*

-Power Pro returns with McMahon putting over all the action from tonight in a big way. He then sets the stage for a big night of action coming this week on MSW. He puts over the issues with the Russians and Jim Duggan and Steve Williams. He wonders who will join Duggan and Williams in this battle. He then turns his attention to the Fantastics and the Guerreros. He talks about the World Tag Team Titles being on the line this week on MSW and the Fantastics could walk away with the gold. McMahon puts them over as we head to our main event here tonight…

The Fantastics vs Krusher Kruschev & Alexis Smirnoff w/ Chris Markoff

-A great main event to cap off a night of fun action. We see the Russians take control of the contest early with the numbers game. Fulton and Rogers are really doing well as a tag team and have shown they have what it take to be champions. Kruschev and Markoff are former champions and with Smirnoff on their side, it could spell disaster for the Fantastics. We see Fulton and Rogers pick up the pace but Markoff gets involved to cause the DQ! It turns into a 3 on 2 beatdown before we see Duggan and Williams run out and run off the Russians! The crowd is going wild for the Americans as McMahon and Ross put this over in a big way and talk about the big MSW this week from the Irish McNeil Boy’s Club!

Mid South Wrestling is coming to you on its Fox Affiliates throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. Action is coming to you tonight from Shreveport, Louisiana @ the Irish McNeil Boy’s Club.

{We see the hype video for MSW as we cut to the arena where Jim Ross is standing by.}

Jim Ross: Welcome everyone to Mid South Wrestling! I am Jim Ross and fans we are coming to you from the Irish McNeil Boy’s Club here in Shreveport Louisiana and fans we have got a huge night of Mid South action coming your way. Tonight we will see a big one on one matchup with Tully Blanchard taking on Michael PS Hayes and in our main event, the world tag team titles will be on the line when the Guerreros take on the Fantastics. Tonight we will also see Dr. Death Steve Williams in action along with Rick Rude. Fans it is going to be a great night… now wait just a moment…

{Gino Hernandez and Tully Blanchard walk out to the set…}

Jim Ross: What are you two doing out here?

Gino Hernandez: Jim Ross why don’t you do everyone a favor and just keep that mouth shut. You see last week we sat here and heard Grizzly Smith talking about 30-days for Mr. Wrestling II. We heard him talk about him losing that title… well the question has to be asked now…

Tully Blanchard: We want to know about Ted Dibiase. Seems like old Teddy had a little slip and fall a couple of weeks ago and we haven’t seen or heard from him in quite some time…

Jim Ross: A little slip and fall… you two piledrove him into the cement floor!

Tully Blanchard: Details are in the eye of the behold Ross… what we did was send a message. We sent a message to every single person in the world of wrestling. The magazines, the headlines, the news reports… they all say the same thing… Gino Hernandez and Tully Blanchard… one and one together taking over the world.

Gino Hernandez: The winds of change brother and blowing about as strong as a hurricane… first it was Brody, then it was Watts, then it was Dibiase… the question is left for the world… who’s next!?!

{The crowd then explodes when Bill Watts walks out! He gets right in the face of Gino Hernandez and Tully Blanchard…}

Bill Watts: Now don’t kid yourselves… I am not out here for a fight… but if I was… I’d give you two the beating of a lifetime! Now you wanna come out here and talk about injuries and 30-days… well let me be the first to tell the two of you that you don’t call the shots! You don’t make the decisions…. I DO! Now I spoke to Ted Dibiase and against his doctor’s orders, he is going to be here next week on a special Leap Year edition of MSW! Next week he’s going to be here and next week’s he’s going to watch the semi finals of a tournament. You see this Friday night in San Antonio there is going to be a one round tournament to narrow 8 men down to 4. Next week right here on MSW, Ted Dibiase will sit right here with Jim Ross and watch the semi-finals as we determine who will go into the finals and who will face him on March the 21st right here on Mid South Wrestling! Here’s the bracket for the tournament on Friday night…

Michael Hayes vs Gino Hernandez

Terry Gordy vs King Kong Bundy

Wahoo McDaniel vs Krusher Kruschev

Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Tully Blanchard

-The crowd pops as Hernandez and Tully don’t balk at Watt’s announcement. We then hear the Freebirds’ music as Michal Hayes, Buddy Roberts, and Terry Gordy come down to ringside for our first big opening contest!

Michael Hayes vs Tully Blanchard

-We have officials around ringside trying to clear up the mess as we’ve got a lot of extra guys around. We see a nice cheapshot from Gino on Hayes that looks to possibly bust his nose as we have got a commercial break. When we come back, Tully is all over Hayes. Ross puts this over the best he can as we’ve got two of the premiere athletes right now in the sport. For what its worth, Michael Hayes does not have the flashiest repertoire of professional wrestling maneuvers, but damn he can get the crowd going. From the word go, Tully is the offensive juggernaut and Hayes just sells and sells and then when it comes time he gets his comeback. He starts hammering away with rights and lefts and then a huge back body drop! Hayes hits a small moonwalk and then a nasty left hook that knocks Blanchard right out of the ring to the floor! Hayes and Blanchard go out of the ring and they are battling. PeeWee Anderson comes out and he is trying to hold up the action but nothing doing. Gino Hernandez runs out and he NAILS HAYES! He grabs his left and smashes his fist into the ring post! Here comes Gordy and Roberts and we’ve got a brawl! PeeWee Anderson calls for the bell as this one has gone completely wild. Officials and agents come out to break it up. The Freebirds aren’t done, as they want some revenge on Gino and Tully who have somehow got the best of them.

*COMMERCIAL*

-MSW returns with Jim Ross putting over the big tournament one more time as he runs through the matchups.

Michael Hayes vs Gino Hernandez

Terry Gordy vs King Kong Bundy

Wahoo McDaniel vs Krusher Kruschev

Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs Tully Blanchard

-He then turns his attention to Don Muraco who joins him at ringside. They talk about his recent change of feelings and what has gone on. Muraco says that he is going to change some things and really take the bull by the horns. We then see Scott Casey come out and he interrupts him and says that he’s the rightful champion! Casey and Muraco start jaw jacking a little bit before Muraco says he would be happy to see him in the ring at any point in time. Casey says he’s got stuff to do and jumps into the ring.

Johnny Rodz vs Scott Casey

-A good showcase for Casey who has continued to be one of the top wrestlers week in and week out. Muraco and Ross put him over but Muraco says he would love to step in the ring with him and see just what he has got. Casey handles Rodz with ease and gets the Brainbuster 1…2….3! He points at Muraco and says he’s going to feel the same thing!

*COMMERCIAL*

-MSW returns with Watts joined by Wahoo McDaniel and Magnum TA. They are putting over their feud with Rick Rude and King Kong Bundy. They put over the big tournament in San Antonio this Friday and Magnum says he would to love to get that shot and will work hard to earn it in the future. We then wee Rude walk out with Bundy and Jimmy Hart. Wahoo says he wants to get that one final match with Bundy and will do whatever it takes to earn it.

Omar Atlas vs Rick Rude w/ King Kong Bundy & Jimmy Hart

-A fun little showcase with Rude really coming into his own. He has got the body and the mouth with Jimmy Hart. He is putting it together in the ring with some sharp strikes and back breaking power maneuvers. He works over Atlas’ neck and finishes him off with the Rude Awakening for the 1…2…3! Rude and Bundy work the crowd with Hart acting a fool and welcoming Wahoo and Magnum into the ring! This one is building into something special…

*COMMERCIAL*

-MSW returns with Jim Ross putting over the USA vs Russia feud. Kruschev walks out with Markoff anf Smirnoff and they put themselves over big time. They talk about Hacksaw Duggan and how there is no way he will be able to survive the tournament and will never get his hands on a title. Hacksaw Duggan walks out with Dr. Death and we are told that they’ve got a third partner. They are going to introduce him next week right here on MSW!

Dr. Death Steve Williams vs Dark Shadow

-A glorified squash here for Williams who is running wild with the red, the white, and the blue. He hammers down on Shadow and makes him pay. He looks out to the Russians as Hacksaw Duggan gets the USA chant going. We see the big OKLAHOMA STAMPEDE for the 1…2…3! Williams and Hacksaw work the crowd and next week they are going to make their stand against the Russians!

*COMMERCIAL*

-MSW returns with Ross putting over all the nights’ action. The Guerreros walk out, gold enshrined just working the crowd over. Hector gets on the microphone with Ross and puts over his family and says they are the one true family in all of wrestling. Ross puts over the big Mexican Death Match this Friday night in San Antonio against Mil Mascaras and Jose Lothario. The Guerreros say that they are going to get every tag title in every territory and show the world why they are the best, plain and simple. Ross puts over the Fantastics as we head into our main event!

NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

The Fantastics vs The Guerreros © w/ Hector

-There’s around 14-minutes of television time remaining and these guys go the full 14 and have got the crowd going white hot the entire time. Fulton and Rogers do their best sell and put everything on the table. Mando and Chavo do some great slimy heel work and Ross puts them through the roof. We see Hector get involved here and there to add some fuel to the fire. Fulton and Rogers do everything they can to outlast their competitors and the uneven odds! Ross loses his mind when Hector grabs Fulton’s leg leading to Chavo kneeing him in the back. We get a big 2 on 1 but out of the back runs Jose Lothario and he CRACKS Hector Guerrero with a huge right hand! He goes flying! We see all four men in the ring and one thing comes to anther and Nick Patrick gets rocked by Tommy Rogers. We see Mando tackle him out of the ring to the floor. Inside, Chavo goes for a big clothesline but Fulton ducks and grabs him for a German Suplex and here comes PeeWee Anderson for the 1….2…..3!!! What just happened here??!?? Nick Patrick is up and he pulls PeeWee over….

-Jim Ross is trying to figure out what’s going on. PeeWee Anderson holds up the hands of the Fantastics but Patrick pulls them down and holds up the Guerreros! Bill Watts and Grizzly Smith walk out and talk to the referees. Boyd Pierce says that PeeWee Anderson counted 3 but Nick Patrick, the main referee disqualified Tommy Rogers before the fall. Bill Watts holds everything up and says that next week, right here on MSW, it is going to be the semi finals of the North American Title Tournament, but also a 2/3 falls World Tag Team vs Mid South Tag Team Championship match! The crowd pops and Ross puts this through the roof as we fade out…

Power Pro Wrestling

Sunday February 26th

{Power Pro Wrestling opens showcasing the top talent in Mid South as we cut to the studio and see Vince McMahon standing by.}

Vince%20McMahon_zpszwue2xri.jpg

Vince: Welcome everyone to Power Pro Wrestling. I am Vince McMahon and we have got a great night of action lined up for you this evening. We’ve got two big sets of news coming out of Mid South this week. The first being the big $200,000 Paul Boesch Invitational Tag Team Tournament. This huge event will be held on April 6th and 7th in Houston, Texas. Promoter Bill Watts has worked directly with Boesch for this event and some of the top talent from around the Mid South area and around the world will be involved. Already signed for the event will be the Fantastics, Gino Hernandez & Tully Blanchard, Magnum TA & Wahoo McDaniel, and Rick Rude & King Kong Bundy. Other top teams like the Freebirds, the Midnight Express, and the Youngbloods have been signed. Champions lie the Grapplers, Dick Slater & Bob Orton, The Sheepherders, The Zumbie Express, and the NWA World Tag Team Champions the Guerreros. We will have more teams announced in the coming weeks. Right now we have got action from one of the Guerreros… let’s go to the ring.

Hector Guerrero defeated Omar Atlas

-Ross and McMahon put over the Guerreros and their teamwork. They talk about the world tag team titles and the issue they’ve had with the Fantastics and then Jose Lothario and Mil Mascaras. Guerrero hits three big suplexes on Atlas and then picks him up for a double underhook suplex for the 1…2….3! He works the crowd as the Guerreros aren’t too high on their list…

*COMMERCIAL*

Gino Hernandez defeated Brady Boone

-Ross and McMahon really put over Gino Hernandez and say he’s a top challenger for the North American Championship and the Television championship and then they put over how good of a team he and Tully Blanchard are. They put over a big Bad Street 6-Man Tag coming up this next week in Houston in which Gino and Tully say they’ve got a big surprise for the Freebirds. Gino locks in the Figure Four tonight for the submission as he works the crowd.

-McMahon continues to put over Hernandez and he talks about the big NA Title Tournament. He says Hernandez was victorious the other night in San Antonio against Michael Hayes. He says that he will need to face Terry Gordy this week on MSW but puts over the Badstreet Match in Houston next Friday. McMahon wonders just who will join Hernandez and Blanchard against the Freebirds. He turns his attention to the tag team championship and puts over the Freebirds as we cut to the ring for action.

Buddy Roberts & Terry Gordy w/ Michael Hayes defeated The Shadows

-A pretty good showcase for Gordy and Roberts. Ross and McMahon put Gordy over big time and say he has a chance to earn a chance at the North American title this week when he faces Hernandez on MSW! Roberts looks good this week and he sets up the red show for a big powerslam by Terry Gordy for the 1…2…3!! Hayes and the Freebirds work the crowd as they’ve got some big things coming up this week!

*COMMERCIAL*

King Kong Bundy w/ Jimmy Hart defeated Dominic DeNucci

-Bundy looks pretty bad ass this week and he makes pretty quick work of DeNucci. He gets the 5 count in about 2 minutes and then we cut to a pre-taped interview with him and Jimmy Hart….

ee52a65d38f126eff4f3eb068cf9f2dd.jpg

Jimmy Hart: If I have said it once, I have said it a thousand times, King Kong Bundy is the real deal daddy. This man is the biggest and the baddest. He has put everyone, even that good for nothing Wahoo McDaniel down for the 5-count! Now this past Friday night… Terry Gordy was the luckiest man in wrestling baby. He got a cheap quick three count on my man who only rules with the five-count. You let Gordy know that if he gets in Bundy’s way again, he is going to go down… the hard way! Wahoo McDaniel, don’t think we’ve forgot about you. I spoke with Rick Rude and together, the First Family has put the word out… it is going to be the END OF WAHOO MCDANIEL IN 1984! HAHAHA!

-McMahon is back in the studio and he puts over Jimmy Hart and his First Family. He wonders just who he will add to the Family over the next couple of weeks. He puts over how Bundy was beaten by Gordy, very controversially this last Friday night in San Antonio. McMahon then turns his attention to Scott Casey who says he is the rightful television champion. McMahon says we will learn more about who will challenge Mr. Wrestling II for that title in the coming weeks as that match is schedule for the 16th of March. He says that Don Muraco has put out a challenge to him and they will have to settle their feud before too long. He sends it to the ring where Muraco is in action…

Don Muraco defeated Johnny Rodz

-Muraco looks very good tonight. He is trimming down a little bit but still has the ROCK figure. Ross and McMahon put over how Muraco and Casey will do battle on the March 7th edition of MSW. Muraco finishes things with a tombstone piledriver for the 1…2…3! Muraco is getting a little more pop from the crowd as they have warmed up to him.

*COMMERCIAL*

-Power Pro returns with McMahon really putting over this week’s MSW and the semi-final matches. He then talks about Hacksaw Duggan and how he’s putting together his All-American team! He wonders who will be joining him to battle the mighty Russian trio as we seem them in action right here tonight!

Krusher Kruschev, Alexis Smirnoff, & Chris Markoff vs SD Jones, Brian Blair, & Jim Brunzell

-Ross and McMahon really put over the Russians. They talk them up in the biggest way and wonder how they will fare against Duggan and his All-American team. Kruschev looks great here tonight and hits a big Russian Sickle on SD Jones for the 1….2….3! The Russians wave the Flag around… McMahon and Ross wonder just how long that flag will wave so freely as we see a preview for MSW this week!

THIS WEEK ON MSW FROM NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA!

Ted Dibiase will be in the building…

Hacksaw Duggan says he is going to call out Krusher Kruschev and he has got his All-American Team with him!

Mid South Wrestling is coming to you on its Fox Affiliates throughout Louisiana, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. Action is coming to you tonight from the Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana.

{MSW opens with footage of all the top Mid South stars as we cut down to the ring with Jim Ross standing by and he is joined by Cowboy Bill Watts}

Jim Ross: Welcome everyone to Mid South Wrestling! I am Jim Ross and I am joined here tonight by Bill Watts. Bill, I am told you’ve got a couple of big announcements tonight…

Bill Watts: That’s right Jim. Let me first say that it is great to be back here in New Orleans. I want to take a moment and talk about the big $200,000 tag team tournament. I know we’ve had some big teams announced but after speaking with Paul Boesch, Stan Hansen will be finding a new partner for the tournament, no word on who that will be. I am in negotiations with two more teams from Mid South to join the big 24 team tournament and lemme tell you, it is going to be gangbusters in Houston on those two nights. The other announcement I wanted to make was to welcome in here tonight, the current North American Heavyweight Champion, Ted Dibiase!

{Ted Dibiase comes out and gets a little love from the crowd but nothing crazy. He still looks heel and holds the title as he joins Watts and Ross…}

Jim Ross: Ted Dibiase, it is great to see you back here in Mid South Wrestling…

Ted Dibiase: Listen to me Jim Ross, I am here for one purpose tonight, I am here to see just who is going to face me in a couple of weeks for this title. I haven’t been wrestling in Mid South for the past month; I have been trying to heal from the attack that Gino Hernandez and Tully Blanchard put on me. Well they are both in the semifinals, and I hope I meet one of them and then I get to get my hands on the other. I am here to let everyone know that I am going to be back and I am going to be better than ever and you can take that to the bank!

-All three men then put over the tournament and the results from the opening round… Gino defeated Michael Hayes, Terry Gordy defeated King Kong Bundy, Wahoo McDaniel defeated Krusher Kruschev, and Tully Blanchard defeated Hacksaw Duggan. They talk about the two big matches and then the 2/3 falls World Tag Team Championship match tonight. It looks as though Dibiase is going to stick around for commentary and it is he and Jim Ross tonight as we cut to the ring for the opening contest. We see Tully Blanchard walk out here with Gino Hernandez as they stand in the ring and look at the action in the aisle as Wahoo McDaniel walks down to the ring and out of nowhere, King Kong Bundy comes and floors him! Rude jumps in and it is a 2 on 1 in the aisle! Officials and agents come out to break things up as we’ve got pure mayhem to get things going!

*COMMERCIAL*

Wahoo McDaniel vs Tully Blanchard

-We join this match in progress as Jim Ross and Ted Dibiase put over the action in a big way. They talk about the beating Wahoo just took in the aisle-way from Bundy and Rude as Jimmy Hart laughed the entire time! Dibiase is still playing heel here but this is a very fun contest. Wahoo is slowly building his way back in for this 15-minute affair. Tully works the knees of Wahoo, who can barely stand but continues to fight with everything he’s got. The crowd begins to chant and cheer for the big Chief and he comes firing back with everything he’s got. He sends Blanchard reeling around the ring and hits a huge overhand chop that puts Tully down! Gino pulls him out of the ring and appears to be checking on him. Wahoo steps out and pushes Hernandez away. We see Gino almost nail him but Magnum TA runs out and we’ve got some chaos here. Magnum backs off Gino as Wahoo throws Tully back into the ring and he appears to be busted from that overhand chop. They battle in the middle of the ring for a couple more minutes before Wahoo looks to finish. He nails Tully with a huge back body drop that has him up in the lights. We see Gino slip Tully something before he tries to distract the referee. Magnum comes over and hauls him off the apron and then cracks him with a huge right hand! Inside the referee has his back turned and Tully with a big right hand, right between the eyes and Wahoo goes crashing down and Tully covers for the 1…2….3! Tully has whatever was in his hand hidden and my oh my, what a mess. He is busted up pretty good here as Gino pulls him out of the ring. Could we see a Dynamic Duo final? That will be the question to answer in just a little bit!

*COMMERCIAL*

-MSW returns with Jim Ross and Ted Dibiase putting over Tully’s trip to the finals and how he will be wrestling the winner of the next semifinal contest this weekend on Power Pro wrestling. They turn their attention to this Friday night in Houston in which we will see a six-man Bad Street match with the Freebirds taking on Gino, Tully, and a mystery partner. They put over the big main event with King Kong Bundy taking on Wahoo McDaniel in a cage match and a huge $10,000 battle royal. It is going to be a huge night in Houston. We then hear the Russians come out and Krusher Kruschev is in the ring with Alexis Smirnoff and Chris Markoff…

Krusher: Now you people need to shut up and show us some respect! We are the ones who are braven enough to show our true colors right here in front of the world. We value what the Kremlin has done and what the goals are in athletics and professional wrestling. Since day one, I have shown the world that I will do whatever it takes to put down pieces of trash like Hacksaw Jim Duggan. He is nothing but a flag waving idiot who knows nothing about patriotism, nothing about wrestling, and nothing about being a MAN! What the Kremlin has put together,

{The crowd then pops as Hacksaw Duggan is shown walking out with the American flag!}

Hacksaw: Listen here tough guy! You wanna sit there and call me out… let me tell you something there pal… I was born right here in the USA and I am damn proud of it! I have got all these people here backing me up every time I get in that ring. I have no problem coming in there and showing you why I am a real man… but I ain’t no idiot. I am not fighting three guys tonight, but I got two buddies who wanna help me! They are some All-American men… Dr. Death Steve Williams and Captain Mike Rotundo!

{The crowd gives a nice little jolt when we see Williams come out in his Oklahoma coat and Rotundo in his Syracuse coat. They walk out and rip off their coats and jump into the ring and we’ve got a six-man brawl! The crowd is going wild as Duggan, Rotundo, and Williams send the Russians flying out of the ring. The fans are chanting USA as Duggan grabs the microphone and screams the pledge of allegiance and the crowd goes right along as the Russians work the fans and back off. Ross and Dibiase put it over as we’ve got more semi-final action when we come back!}

-MSW returns with Dibiase and Ross putting over Hacksaw Duggan and his buddies Rotundo and William who are definitely here with something to prove. They turn their attention to the next semi-final contest and put both men over. Dibiase says he’d love to see a Dynamic Duo final but knows that Gordy is one of the toughest men in the world to beat. We cut to the ring for this next big contest…

Terry Gordy vs Gino Hernandez

-Michael Hayes, Buddy Roberts, and Tully Blanchard come out here with their respective men but are sent back pretty quickly by PeeWee Anderson. This one goes 14-minutes and both of these boys brought their working boots. The ability of Gordy to bounce all over the place just puts this through the roof. He makes Gino look like a million dollars while Hernandez does the same. Both men come away from this with the fans wanting just a little bit more. These guys look to be trying to finish and Hernandez with a huge suplex that shakes the ring. He then nails a falling knee drop right to the skull and Gordy is hurting but the big man fights back. Some huge strikes, rights and lefts and then a big POWERSLAM! Here comes Blanchard as he tries to get in the ring but Hayes and Roberts come and pull him down! We have got a pier six brawl! Wait a minute… WHAT IS THAT?!?!

{This monster of a man shows up in the aisle way as Ross and Dibiase are going nuts putting it over. Ross has lost it while Dibiase says that it is Lord Humungous! He steps over the ropes and looks down at Gordy who throws a big right and then another one but this masked man headbutts him once, twice, and then a third time and Gordy is busted wide open. Nick Patrick calls for the bell. This big guy picks up Gordy and then hits a nasty spinebuster! Officials run out but Humungous scares them back. The long and short of it is that Gordy has won and he’ll face Tully this week on Power Pro… but right now, this monster has complete control of the ring. We have got chaos in the arena right now…}

-MSW returns with Jim Ross and Ted Dibiase putting Lord Humungous over in the biggest way. They put over the big night in Houston this week with Wahoo McDaniel vs King Kong Bundy in the cage and a 6-man Badstreet Match with the Freebirds taking on Gino, Tully, and a mystery partner that may end up being Lord Humungous. We then see Grizzly Smith come out. He speaks with Dibiase and says we will have the one on one match on the 21st of March. He says that on the 16th, there will be a big television championship match, but in two weeks right here, we will see a 20-man battle royal to determine the winner. He also announces that if the Fantastics win the World Tag Team titles tonight, they will need to relinquish the Mid South titles immediately… this sends us to the ring for the main event…

NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

2/3 FALLS

The Fantastics vs The Guerreros ©

-Boyd Pierce sets the stage for this huge encounter. Ross and Dibiase put all four of these guys through the roof in the biggest way. We are getting Mando and Chavo for the Guerreros and Hector is nowhere to be found at this point. We get a great, fast paced contest here with around 20-minutes of television time remaining. This one is a sprint from the start to the finish with the first fall coming at a mis-communication between the Guerreros leading to Fulton and Rogers hitting a double dropkick on Mando for the 1…2….3!! They go up 1-0 and the Guerreros can feel the pressure. They work their way back and get in control but there is something with Rogers and Fulton here tonight. They have got the crowd rocking and rolling with them. We see a big spot in which Fulton hits a high cross body on Chavo and they go over the top to the floor. Nick Patrick isn’t sure what to call it as we go to commercial. When MSW returns, Ross and Dibiase put this match over in the biggest way. They say that Nick Patrick didn’t make a call on the cross body and the match is still going on. This is when we see Chavo get Rogers riled up while Mando hits a LOW BLOW on Fulton and then a double DDT while the referee is locked up with Rogers. We get the 1…2….3 and it is all tied up now 1-1 and we have limited television time remaining. The match builds to the moment in which Fulton makes the huge tag to Rogers and he comes in like a damned house of fire. He is hitting everything that moves and this is where we see Hector Guerrero come out of the wood work! The contest is going at a blistering pace here as Mando and Chavo are trying to double up on Rogers but Fulton comes off the top rope with a huge double cross body! The crowd is going nuts in New Orleans as Ross and Dibiase are losing their voices. We see Fulton run at Chavo who back drops him over the top rope to the floor! Chavo turns and here comes Rogers with a dropkick to the gut and Chavo goes out of the ring. Mando runs for a clothesline but Rogers ducks and then comes back with a big crescent kick and Mando is down! Mando is down! Rogers is looking to cover but damnit… HECTOR GUERRERO NAILS HIM WITH THE TITLE BELT! The crowd is booing up a storm! This is pure chaos! We have fans trying to get in the ring here as Boyd Pierce announces that the winners are Fulton and Rogers! Ross is wondering if they will get the titles as Dibiase says the titles can’t change hands on a DQ! We have got a lot of chaos and time has run out. Ross says they will have an update this Sunday on Power Pro along with the big finals between Tully Blanchard and Terry Gordy!
