I'm a big Teddy Hart fan... However, in my defense, his feud with Homicide from JAPW has been fantastic and seriously underrated as not many people have really seen it -- but if you like fish hooking, mouth punching, wild chair swinging, moonsaults off vending machines, bloody brawls, then yeah, you owe it to yourself to see it. To me, it's what a modern day Funk Brothers vs. Sheik and Abdullah feud would look like.

Aside from that, his matches aren't usually all-time classics or anything, but similar to Penta, he carries this aura and charisma that makes his stuff must watch to me.

Kudos to the latest Survey Says podcast for reminding me, but I really dug Vampiro's WCW entrance music. I don't know much of anything about the Insane Clown Posse's actual discography, but that track always sounded pretty cool.

Also enjoyed the music they provided for the Oddities. As a standalone song, it doesn't hold up or compare to Vamp's - but it was a pitch perfect for for the Oddities' act & the overall presentation of their entrance.

Steve McMichael was a better Horseman than Dean Malenko, Jeff Jarrett, Paul Roma, Lex Luger, Brian Pillman or Sting. Not by default, he was actually a good Horseman as a character. He fit, complete with Debra who was awesome as the southern beauty queen airhead.

I disagree on Lex, Lex was great as the upstart Horseman.

When the Horsemen turned heel, I thought Dean was very good. But I do love Mongo as a character and he also helped in those bleacher clearing brawls with the nWo,

The closest thing I have to shame over liking something is the Abyss/Sting feud in TNA. Also the Jarrett/Sting match in WCW where Sting is attacked by clones. The moment one drags him under, then emerges beat up followed by the real Sting is great.

I've watched the Last Rites match more times than I'd care to admit.

It has this feel of a death match. Which I think comes from the things that went wrong. If it had went according to plan, it would had been an unmemorable bland affair.

I love Abyss in general. I followed him from his Prince Justice days and he has a good heart. The Joseph Park stuff was a favorite.

I just wish he had cooled it with the fucking thumb tacks. He just killed that gimmick and everyone talked to him about it. But everybody liked him so much as a person they could not tell him no.

James Mitchell said he talked til he was blue in the face. He said if he were in charge he would have threatened to fire him if he used them unprompted.

I really enjoyed the feud he had with Kongo Kong in TNA.

I do love me some Santino. That segment with Sheamus and Kozlov in the UK cracked me up.

I also feel like I'm the world's only Wataru Inoue mark. When I first got into puroresu about five years back, everyone seemed to despise the guy. I think he brings a lot of fire to the matches he's in and worked well as Nagata's significantly less talented second.

Sid Vicious.

He'd have been perfect during the seventies and eighties. It's amazing how the ECW crowd reacted to him. Just goes to show ol' Cactus was right about them I guess.

This talking point still lingering is weird. 911 was super over in ECW. Sid is the richest man's 911.

Just wanted to say I've really been enjoying this thread. Sid seems to basically be the Patron Saint of Wrestling Guilty Pleasures, which makes sense to me. The vastness of the internet has made it that almost anyone you can think of has received some love at some point, so it's hard to even come up with one. I mean, if you told me a few years ago that Mongo would be remembered fondly, I'd have been shocked. I think it's been good for wrestling appreciation and fandom that as time has gone on, people have moved away from the Scott Keith views of wrestling, and feel more comfortable talking about guys and how they fit their roles, rather than just immediately trashing people.

Indeed. I wasn't going to let Boss Man-Show being voted Worst Feud in the WON Awards deter me from enjoying it.

My problem with that feud is the blow off was so hum drum. It just ends with Show choke slamming Bossman in a mid card match. Rather than doing a bloody smoke and mirrors brawl. But they used that for Vince vs Hunter that night.

Dude defiled Show's Dad's corpse and Show pinned him in a mid card wrestling match.

Not sure if it a guilty pleasure or just a weird one but the lacrosse. He was a random gaijin brought in to fill up cards and had some good stuff. He is great in a January 1997 korakuen main event with his interactions with asako and misawa being great and he was really over. He turns into the wolf hawk field character at the 1997 RWTL which I think was a tie in with a fighting game, maybe virtua fighter. Sadly a lot of his one biggish run in ajpw when he wins the all asia belts with jonny smith not much of it is on tape.

I don't believe in the idea of guilty pleasures, to be honest. Especially in Pro Wrestling. If you like something, you like it. Unless it's the Benoit Tribute RAW, then I might have to draw a line.

But in the spirit of the thread, I LOVE The Godwinns as heels. The simple bad ass just overalls look when they feuded with The Road Warriors was awesome, and I adore the short lived Southern Justice gimmick.
