(After the opening credits, we head to the broadcast booth to kick off this week’s show with Guy Hauray & Édouard Carpentier)

Guy Hauray: Hello everyone and welcome to this week’s NWA Lutte Internationale TV. As usual, we’re gonna have some exciting action this week and we’ll also take a special look at NWA World TV Champion Tully Blanchard, who is in action in the territory all weekend long, including tonight vs Bob Backlund in Longueuil. But also tonight, Eddie, we’ve heard some rumblings that some teams want their piece of the NWA World Tag Team Champions this week and from what I understand, those people will plead their case to the champions later on in this show.

Édouard Carpentier: Well, it’s no secret that the Rougeau Brothers have a big target on their back since winning the NWA World Tag Team Championship from the Fantastics at Starrcade. We know that the Midnight Express still have some unfinished business with the Rougeaus but many teams have surpassed themselves recently and might have passed the Midnight Express in the pecking order of the tag team division. So it’s gonna be interesting to see which teams will show up.

Guy Hauray: Indeed, we’ll see about that and it should be as intriguing as it can get. But we’re gonna start things off with our young lion, Sting, in action!

Match #1

Sting vs Gilles “the Fish” Poisson

During the match, the broadcast booth hypes up Sting heading to Japan next week to take part in the New Japan’s Young Lions Cup. Sting looks to be in phenomenal condition and it shows early, even against a crafty veteran like Gilles Poisson. Of course, Sting makes some rookie mistakes in the early moments of the match but eventually, Sting’s luck turns around and he regains control, hitting a corner splash. Poisson collapses on the floor and Sting locks in what he calls the Scorpion Deathlock on Poisson. Poisson taps and Sting picks up a big victory!

Winner: Sting

(After the match, Sting heads to the broadcast booth to join Édouard Carpentier for an interview.)

Édouard Carpentier: Sting, congratulations for a big victory as you're about to be heading to Japan to represent NWA Lutte Internationale at the Young Lions Cup, starting March 8th!

Sting: AAAAAAOOOOOOOOOOW! Man, does this feel good! Thank you, sir, I truly appreciate this. You know, this is something that is gonna be very special for me. Having the chance to wrestle in Japan at this stage of my career, it’s going to be quite a learning experience. Not only will I have the opportunity to wrestle the best young lions in Japan but also those in North America who’ll be taking part in this tournament with me. This will be an opportunity that I can’t miss and I’m proud to go there to represent the NWA and Lutte Internationale as well. I can’t make you any promise; I can’t guarantee you that I will win the whole damn thing but I can sure as heck promise you and everyone in this studio and watching on TV that I’ll represent this territory to the fullest and I’ll give it all each and every night that I’ll be performing. So, when I come back to the territory, I can assure you that you’ll all one name in mind: Sting! AAAAAOOOOOOOOOOOW!

(Sting retreats backstage and Édouard Carpentier rejoins Guy Hauray at the booth)

Guy Hauray: Well, there you have it, fans; Sting is ready to represent us at the New Japan Young Lions in 2 weeks and he’ll still try to gain some momentum in the first week of March in our various live events.

Édouard Carpentier: This will be a priceless experience for him as he’s headed to Japan to compete against some of the best in the world. One of them will be Owen Hart from Mid-Atlantic, who’ll join us during our next weekend loop of live events and 1/3 of the NWA World 6-Men Tag Team Champions with his brothers Keith & Bruce!

Guy Hauray: Again, best of luck to Sting in this tournament and more action when we come back!

********COMMERCIAL BREAK********

Match #2

Sika vs The Spoiler

A rare TV singles outing for Sika but it doesn’t seem to faze him a bit, given the amount of singles matches he wrestles in the live event loops. Despite being a tag team specialist, he’s still a dangerous man in the ring, as pointed out by the broadcast team. So, it’s not much of a surprise as Sika takes control during the match and works on neutralizing as much as he can the power in the Claw hand of The Spoiler with some nerve holds. But eventually, the Wild Samoan makes one mistake too many by missing a 2nd rope headbutt on The Spoiler, allowing the masked grappler to seize back control of the match. That mistake will turn out to be costly for Sika as The Spoiler is able to lock in his dreaded Iron Claw on Sika and Sika is rendered powerless, forcing the referee to stop the match. The broadcast booth puts over The Spoiler’s accomplishment!

Winner: The Spoiler

*******COMMERCIAL BREAK*********

Guy Hauray: Welcome back to NWA Lutte Internationale TV. As you might know by now, NWA World TV Champion & 24-Karat member Tully Blanchard is in action this weekend so we thought we could show you some highlights of this highly skilled individual so you can have a better idea of who exactly is Tully Blanchard.

******CUT TO FOOTAGE FROM VARIOUS MID-ATLANTIC PROGRAMMING****

Tully Blanchard is with James J Dillon and they are dressed in thousands of dollar suits. Tony asked what is next for the television champion? JJ laughs and says that they are building the Tully Blanchard corporation. He is the best wrestler on television and he proves it every week. On World Wide Wrestling this week, he defends the title once again.

*******COMMERCIAL BREAK********

Guy Hauray: Before we close the show this week, welcome our guests, the NWA World Tag Team Champions, Jacques & Raymond, the Rougeau Brothers!

(The Rougeaus come out of the dressing room in street clothes, NWA World Tag Team Championships on their shoulder and join Guy Hauray at the broadcast booth.)

Guy Hauray: Thank you for joining us here and it’s no secret now that you’ve been marked men since you won the NWA World Tag Team Championships at Starrcade. But the big question remains right now; who are your next top challengers?

Translation : Mister Hauray, to be very honest with you, this isn’t something that matters to me and Jacques because from the moment we won those belts in Greensboro, we promised ourselves not to back from anyone so I think we can safely say that we succeeded on that level.

Translation : You know, we’ve heard the Midnight Express and Jim Cornette say that they would take the titles away from us. Eddy Creatchman said the same thing with his Family. And we’re not even talking about everyone else in Mid-Atlantic who also wants our belts. Of course, we would’ve loved to give a rematch to the Fantastics, especially Quebec fans very much appreciate the former champions but things being what they are, this is no longer possible. So, if there are any teams wanting a shot at our titles, Raymond and I aren’t too hard to find!

(The Rougeaus don’t have too long to wait as....The Dellaserras answer the challenge???)

Bob Dellaserra: Hey, hey, Rougeaus, you didn’t expect Gino and I to answer your challenge, did ya?

Guy Hauray: With all due respect, Bob, you and your brother Gino haven’t won anything...

Bob Dellaserra: That’s because the decks have been stacked against us! That’s why! We know we can beat the Rougeaus! Any time, any place!

Gino Dellaserra: Yeah! Any time! You name it, you name the place and we’ll beat ya!

Raymond Rougeau: Alright how about...

(POW! Raymond decks Bob with a right hand and he goes down hard on the floor. Gino doesn’t want to insist more than they did and he drags his brother Bob back to the dressing room. Raymond doesn’t have time to place another word than Chicky Starr walks to the set, by himself.)

Guy Hauray: Chicky Starr! What are you doing here?

Chicky Starr: What do you think I’m doing here, chico? Those gringos called me out so I’m answering the call. I’m a former International Tag Team Champion! I think that I qualify enough for this opportunity!

Guy Hauray: But you don’t even have a partner anymore! You turned your back on Carlos Colon during the IWGP Tag Festival in New Japan!

Chicky Starr: That’s because I was sick and tired of carrying that burden that’s Carlos Colon. I’m gonna find myself a new partner and we’re gonna take those titles away from you, Rougeaus! Mark my words!

Jacques Rougeau: Oh, is that so? Uh, so, I’ll tell you what...

(Once again, Jacques doesn’t have time to finish his sentence that The Sensationals, the whole 4 of them, along with Sherri Martel, waltz onto the set to confront the champs as well. We can notice that Billy Robinson is wearing a championship belt as well, although he currently isn’t a recognized champion)

Sherri Martel: What do we have here? The “fabulous” Rougeau Brothers, the NWA World Tag Team Champions! You’re not gonna avoid my Sensationals any longer. It’s already bad enough that Billy Robinson has been ROBBED of the NWA International Heavyweight Championship, I’m not gonna stand here and do nothing.

Guy Hauray: Speaking of which, Sherri, what the hell is this (pointing at Robinson’s title belt)?

Sherri Martel: “This”, as you say, sir, is the undisputed Sensational Heavyweight Champion, Billy Robinson. The most respected and most gifted champion in this territory. Billy and I came to the conclusion that if Lutte Internationale and the National Wrestling Alliance don’t want to right a wrong, we’re gonna create our own break. From now on, THIS (pointing at Robinson’s championship belt) is the most prestigious championship there is in Lutte Internationale. And once Bob Sweetan and Rip Oliver wins those titles, then, Terry Taylor will go after Gino Brito and beat him to become the first Sensational TV Champion, I then will manage the World Sensational Tag Team Champions! We’ll have ALL of the gold and then, Nick Bockwinkel will rue the day that he refused to hire me to guide his career.

Jacques Rougeau: You know what, Sherri? We’re not avoiding anybody. I think we made this clear earlier. We’re gonna take on anybody everywhere, at any given date. So, if this is what you want, this is what you’ll get!

Sherri Martel: Be careful what you wish for, Rougeaus, because you’re gonna get it!

(Sherri had barely finished her sentence that Bob Sweetan cheapshots Jacques Rougeau! Then, Taylor, Robinson & Chicky Starr jump on Raymond Rougeau! It’s now a 5-on-2 beatdown and the battle transports itself in the ring as the mugging continues under the guidance of Sherri Martel. Then, out of the dressing room runs out Carlos Colon, who makes a beeline for Chicky Starr! Chicky Starr immediately jumps out of the ring and runs backstage, with Carlos Colon giving him chase. But it’s still a 4-on-2 attack on the NWA World Tag Team Champions and they’re handing the Rougeaus their asses on their plate but then, out come The Sheepherders with chairs and the Sensationals flee the ring! As the show nears to an end, The Sheepherders are quick to point out to the Rougeaus that despite coming to their aid, they also want their piece of the champions!
