I was afraid it would be a long night after the opening handicap match and related antics. But it ended up a strong night both creatively and in the ring, with Owens/Jericho a great climax to their angle and and the women's title match. I didn't expect the split until Fastlane or the next night, so this had the surprise factor going for it as well the execution and violence while also drawing it out over the course of the angle. Curious to see how they integrate it into the next PPV but I'm much more invested in their match at Mania than I was 24 hours ago.

Charlotte's offense working the back & neck is awesome. Just plays a terrific heel who makes great use of her size advantage over the rest of the division both visually as well as in the style she works. Head & shoulders above any other heel on the roster. Thought they did a nice job teasing and building Bayley's comebacks while giving Charlotte probably 80% or more of the match. Sasha's save after Dana Brooke's interference was incredible predictable. And great. That was one of those moments when telegraphing a spot is absolutely for the best. Great moment to cap a good show. Easy **** match for me.

They have worked themselves into a bit of a corner with Charlotte's PPV streak though. Unlike Undertaker, you can't exactly forget about this one most of the year. They need to find a way out sooner rather than later, but have built it up enough that you don't want to simply end it just to move on. But for whom and how do they set that up?

The Owens/Jericho angle was incredible. I think their match may have the most heat out of any at mania. I know a lot of people have been down on Jericho during this run but the guy just knows how to get stuff over. Just an awesome, awesome segment. People will be talking about it for a long time

And there is always the possibility Stephanie reverses the decision in the main event next week because of Sasha's interference. If they are going the Bryan route with Bayley I could def. see that happening

I saw a couple other people thinking the same thing, but the way the main event played out last night, my mind immediately jumped to a scenario where Bayley wins at the next PPV, celebrates that she broke the PPV streak the next night on RAW, Sasha gets resentful that Bayley did what she couldn't do, and turns on Bayley, leading into a triple threat at Wrestlemania.

RAW fucking ruled. It's so fucking weird that I'm reading shit in other corners of the internet where dummies are trying so hard to find things to argue about or things to shit on with this show. One deal has turned into a big smark circle jerk shitting on Enzo.

I mean, he is fucking terrible but his match was like 2 minutes so it hardly detracted from an overall good show

Poor Enzo is really the worst victim of the "Vince hates managers" edict. His best use would be as a guido Jimmy Hart and be the annoying pipsqueak manager who the babyface can get a big pop from beating up, but instead we're subjected to him trying to be a full time wrestler instead.

Enzo being an awful, awful wrestler isn't exactly the worst part. What I find way worse it how people cheer for him when in every single storyline he's involved, he's the least likeable guy. He's just an asshole of a character, I cannot comprehend how he's a face.

But of course, this episode was really, REALLY good. So was SD's, but that's almost a given.

Same reason Road Dogg worked once he and Billy Gunn started the New Age Outlaws. Fans love good sing-a-longs during openings.

Well hell, so was the Rock. And it's not like Stone Cold was a saint of a TV character all the time.

I actually like Enzo. He is a different character than I am used to seeing lately, and it is interesting how they book him and Big Cass as babyfaces when it seems like they should obviously be heels. I find their whole persona thing a lot of fun and I enjoy the crowd reactions they get. Maybe they should be moved to Smackdown to try to make the tag scene more interesting there.

Going in, I wasn't sure what the Festival of Friendship was going to entail but it ended up being an awesome segment. They managed to get some good comedy in at the beginning before the serious part and the Owens beatdown and I really enjoyed it. Jericho was fantastic at conveying that Simpsons 'and this is the exact moment when his heart breaks' moment when he realises whats about to happen.

The Charlotte/Bayley match was also terrific. I'm praying they don't do the switch the belt straight back to Charlotte moment at Fastlane as it feels like we've been there done that. I know some were upset that Bayley's moment came on RAW rather than at Wrestlemania, but if they have her win again there then that means they can still play that up as a big celebration even though she would already have the title going in. In the network era where people aren't paying for individual shows would be more than happy with a kop out finish at Fastlane to get us there, where neither Bayley loses the title straight back or Charlotte loses her record.

I like Enzo but the best use of him would be as a brawler. When he goes out there and tries to do the same head-scissors and dives matches everyone else does, just.....no.

This is a company problem in general, WWE has a distinct lack of brawlers. It would be refreshing if they had a few punch and kick guys.
