Joe: "Bob, the Armstrong family will have a strong presence in the upcoming title tournaments as Scott/Steve will be competing for the tag titles and both your son Brad and yourself will be in the heavyweight title tournament."

Bob: "We sure are right in the thick of it just the way we like it. Scott and Steve are gonna take those tag titles and either Brad or myself will secure that CCW Heavyweight title when we make it to Knoxville."

Joe: "I've seen the brackets, if you and Brad both win your first round matches you two will face EACH OTHER in the 2nd round!"

Bob: "Well, if that happens I will gladly step aside and allow Brad to move forward in the tournament."

Brad: "No way Pop, if anyone is stepping aside it will be me. Out of respect for you, I would allow you the opportunity to move on in the tournament." (Suddenly Ole Anderson steps into the frame)

OleAnderson.jpg

Ole: "This argument is moot…your old man is facing ME in the first round, so there's no chance whatsoever that you two would face each other….but I must say, I'm impressed that you realize the old guy is washed up and you would have to step aside to let him advance."

Bob: (shoves Ole) "Who are you calling washed up? I'll whip you in the first round and if this whipper snapper wants to test me, I'll show him I can still whip him just like I did when he was a kid, because he's still a kid!"

Brad: (Steps between Bob and Ole) "Now wait a damn minute Pop! (Ole walks away smiling) I don't think you are washed up, I was stepping aside out of respect, BUT if we need to have this match for you to show ME some respect…..them maybe that's exactly what needs to happen, and we'll just see who the KID is.." (Brad storms off)

Bob (following him off camera) "Brad, hold up….I didn't mean it like that…I.."

Joe: "Um, Gordon…back to you."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Gordon: "Ole Anderson stirring the pot between father and son, we really don't want to see something like that…but right now let's go to our main event, a 12 man battle royal for the Alabama Heavyweight Title."

Awesome stuff. I love the preview of the upcoming loop. That's something I tried to incorporate into my TV but eventually let that fall off.

Honky being a chicken shit heel is just as he should be. Ole stepping in and playing the mind games early makes for tremendous drama. Very fun read.

I love getting a feel on some of these Continental names I'm not all familiar with. For instance, I'd heard about Mike Davis' days as one half of the Rock N' Roll RPMs but I always knew him as the weird psycho in the GWF in the early 90's. So, for me, it's really cool to get a taste of it.

OleAnderson2.jpg

Joe: "Ole Anderson, last week we saw you attempt to stir the pot with the Armstrongs, it was sickening to see you try to cause a rift between father and son."

Ole: "Me…cause a rift? I didn't cause anything, I simply pointed out what was already there. I didn't cause anything with those Armstrongs, there a dysfunctional bunch unlike the Anderson family."

(Bob Armstrong storms ringside and grabs the mic)

Bob: "Ole Anderson, you know good and darn well what you were trying to do last week….well, it didn't work…Brad and myself are just fine and WHEN I beat you in Knoxville and when Brad wins his match…it will be none of your concern how we handle a match between us."

Ole: "You are right, IF I was to lose to you, which trust me would never happen…but if it did…it's certainly none of my business that your boy knows you can't hang with him and the only chance you would have to save face would be if he stepped aside and let you win the match."

(Brad comes down to ringside)

BradArmstrong.jpg

Brad: "Pop, don't listen to this garbage….this man doesn't know what he's talking about he's just trying to get inside your head before your match with him."

Again, love the format! Your roster is so interesting as you have so many wrestlers that can be either heels or babyfaces that I can see this as a great roller coaster ride. Great work. Right now the heels have emerged on top but when you the viewers excited to see what comes next you have a great promotion. That is exactly what you got. It is quickly becoming one of my favorite reads but I am biased as I love Southern Wrastling!

I think it is a combo of your writing style and my love of the smaller southern promotions that makes this such a fun read for me. I mean no were else in the wrestling world could Tim Horner and Scott and Steve Armstrong by such a big deal. Love It!

So excited to be working with you in the UWF!

Love seeing you back here and you've jumped right in. I personally don't find relevance in the Fuller/Armstrongs but there has always been a niche for them and I am glad you are opening my eyes to it. I also really like Hercules Hernandez down here... a solid heel with a lot of potential.

I know it's hard for anyone who didn't grow up in the South and see how over the Armstrongs and Fullers were (and are) to really get it......I worked a show as recently as last year in a small town in the middle of nowhere in Alabama that had the Armstrongs (Bob & Steve & Steve Jr) and Jimmy Golden on the show that drew over 600 people. They were all superstars here in the South and it's what I grew up on being from Mississippi so I'm having an absolute blast booking this area!

Once again, great show and I love the partnership. Great card coming to Knoxville! You got my humming some Hank Williams Jr. with that Wendell Cooley intro.

A perfect Southern promotion here with feuds and brawls all over the place. The heels got in in gear now but how long can they keep the control is what makes this a great read.

Austin Idol: the first UWF Unified World Champion does have an interesting ring to it.
