It's cool to see the NWA develop as the promoters work together. It's like anyone could show up anywhere at any time, which keeps things unpredictable and exciting.

The NWA is becoming the three headed monster of wrestling.  The way you guys work together adds such depth to your rosters and as Gordi said, you never know who is going to show up where!

I really like the run sheet you've got going on here. Some really good lineups. The 24-Karat group has shown to be pretty domineering in their tenure with MACW. Plus to think of Flair and Funk teaming at this point is bonkers. Keep doing work and I am pumped for the Great American Bash coming up!

Tony Schiavone and David Crockett welcome us to this week’s edition of World Championship Wrestling. Before they even get to the introduction, 24 Karat appears from the locker room and walk onto the interview set. JJ Dillon wants to know why the NWA Board hasn’t signed a championship match for his team of Bob Orton Jr. and Ray Stevens.  David responds with they haven’t earned it yet. They don’t even have regular tag team matches together. JJ laughs at this, stating they are 24 Karat, only the best in the business. They don’t have to jump through the same hoops the other wrestlers do. David corrects him and says that’s exactly what they have to do. If they want to get a title shot, they need to team on a regular basis, or it will never happen. JJ just looks at David with disgust as Tully pulls JJ away and heads to the ring. The rest of 24 Karat walk behind him.

As World Wide Wrestling comes on the air, we see Magnum TA and Terry Funk brawling out of the locker room. A number of referee’s rush out to try to break this up. They get the US Champ pulled away, but Terry gets his hands on a steel folding chair and nails Magnum on the back with it. He wails away at the United States Champion a few more times. We head to commercial as the announcers wonder if Magnum can compete in the scheduled title defense.

COMMERCIAL BREAK 1

We return to the ring with Bob Orton Jr. in the ring with JJ Dillon. Tony climbs into the ring and they demand to be awarded the match AND the title right now. Tony says that they can’t make that demand. JJ says he certainly can, and he demands the title to be handed to Bob Orton Jr. “Superstar” Graham walks to the ring and climbs in. He says he will take Magnum’s spot in this match. JJ says no, he isn’t scheduled for this match. He isn’t the champion. “Superstar” says that he will defend the title for Magnum right now. JJ tries to say no, but Tommy Young steps in and agrees to the change. He tells JJ it’s either this, or the match is cancelled. JJ argues, but eventually agrees.

Really got a kick of seeing John Tatum with the "Hollywood" gimmick. Loved watching him in the old GWF!
