Again, due to time constraints, this will be written in a recap form. I will assuredly return to the usual format for next week.

-To open this week's show, Bolshevik Revolution member Boris Zhukov took on Denis Goulet in the opener and Goulet was no match for the communist as Zhukov defeated him in less than 4 minutes. After the match, Zhukov & the rest of the Bolshevik Revolution joined the broadcast booth. Alexis Smirnoff said that they weren't impressed by this sudden Quebecer alliance and they will all be crushed, one-by-one. Smirnoff says he might be perceived as a traitor and a turncoat; he sees himself as a revolutionary and a winner. Smirnoff vows to bring down L'Alliance Québécoise.

-In the 2nd match of the night, Gino Brito defended the NWA Canadian International TV Championship against Armand Rougeau. A well-contested match performed with respect towards the sport and the adversary. Armand Rougeau gave all it could but the experience of Brito proved to be too much for the younger Rougeau as Brito retains his championship in around 10 minutes. Postmatch, Brito & Armand shook hands.

-After seeing some highlights of his loss to Continental Heavyweight Champion Austin Idol in the finals of the Johnny Rougeau Memorial Cup, Rick Martel returns to action as he takes on Dominic DeNucci. Martel is back on his game and dispatches of DeNucci rather quickly picking up the win in around 3 minutes. After the match, Rick Martel is interviewed by Édouard Carpentier. Martel says that people have been wondering what the future is for him and he says that he's not going anywhere. Martel is still NWA Canadian International Tag Team Champion with Gino Brito and he intends on staying champ for a while as well. But he also says that people have inevitably asking if he would challenge Ric Flair for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. Martel says that he wants it as well and he hopes to win the title very soon. He's excited about the upcoming Great American Bash tour and he says he'll petition to Jim Crockett and the NWA to get a title match on July 7 at Jarry Park.

-In the main event, Mad Dog Lefebvre went one-on-one with Bob Backlund. Another evenly contested match and Lefebvre has thrown out his dirty tactics out of the window and is fighting an honourable match with Backlund. However, the Bolshevik Revolution shows up and that seems to throw off Lefebvre a bit. Luckily for him, Lefebvre bounces back and is able to pull a huge win over Backlund in about 15 minutes. After the match, the Bolshevik Revolution circles the ring but Armand Rougeau & Richard Charland even the playing field and the Bolshevik Revolution retreats. The show ends with the two alliances staring down at each other, waving the Soviet & Quebec flag at each other.

4 PM Matinee Event

-Boris Zhukov beat Terry Taylor in 7:02

-Prince Alofa Fatu (w/Eddy "The Brain" Creatchman & Sheik Ali) beat Pistol Pez Whatley in 14:09

Guest Referee - Bruno Sammartino: Steve Strong causes a huge upset by defeating NWA World Tag Team Champion Jacques Rougeau. Eddy Creatchman causes the distraction, allowing The Creatchman Family to interfere in the match. Sammartino gets briefly knocked outside the ring during the altercation between Rougeau & the Creatchman Family. This allows Eddy Creatchman to use his cane on Jacques followed by a top rope splash on Rougeau by Fatu. Strong is pulled and draped over Jacques, and Sammartino has no clue to what happened and makes the pinfall to officialize the upset. Steve Strong has no idea what happened but doesn't seem too happy as he sees the Creatchman Family celebrating in the aisle...

BRUNO SAMMARTINO!!!

Rick Martel is on quite the losing streak, but gets a nice win on TV to rebuild his momentum heading into the Bash tour.

I agree with the feedback on the unpredictability of the shows. It really keeps us guessing what could be next.

With all this talk of NWA vs WWF, should I be worried? haha

Well yeah, Eddy Creatchman is not fooling around anymore. He wants people who'll get the job done and take the titles away from either Rick Martel & Gino Brito or The Rougeau Brothers. And The Brain has a lot of connections in the wrestling world and I believe that he might find what he's looking for soon....
