Attention Wrestling Fans! Jim Crockett Promotions, along with the National Wrestling Alliance and its partners Lutte Internationale and Smokey Mountain Wrestling are proud to present the Great American Bash Tour for 1985! We have a majority of venues and talent signed for this very special tour. Today, we are proud to announce the venues signed for July. We have TEN huge stadium shows planned on this year’s tour. Those stadium shows will feature at LEAST ten matches on the card. Even more impressive, each of these stadium shows will include the NWA World Heavyweight Championship being defended on each show. There will be ten different challengers from all over the world vying for the World's Championship. Even if one of the top challengers is victorious in his shot at the title, he will pick up where the previous champion left off on the tour and make those dates. It is a very exciting time in the NWA, with so many things going on, this is just the next step in bring the fans of professional wrestling something to look forward to in the month of July! In addition to these huge wrestling shows, earlier in the afternoon, there will be a stage set up on one end of the venue for a few big concerts as well. One price, one ticket will get you a whole day of entertainment and action in your city! Concert talent and wrestling matches will be released in a few weeks as we get closer to the event. Tickets for these shows will go on sale June 1 at the box office.

BREAKING NEWS: DINO BRAVO TO FACE STAN "THE LARIAT" HANSEN IN CHARLOTTE!!!

After his shocking return to Lutte Internationale in Toronto last night, it didn't take long for Frank Valois & NWA Enforcer Bruno Sammartino to come up with Stan Hansen's opponent in Charlotte, NC for Lutte's Pre-Bash Tour event. It has been announced earlier today that Dino Bravo will wrestle The Lariat on July 28th. Furthermore, Dino Bravo insisted that this match was made to be a No Disqualification Street Fight. Here's what he had to say as to why he asked for that stipulation:

Everyone knows Stan Hansen's reputation around the world and I know he can be dirty with the best of them but so can I. I also know that this is bound to be outta hand so I requested to Frank Valois & Bruno Sammartino the chance to wrestle him in a No DQ match. Personally, as I'm coming back, I'm coming back here humble and I need to regain everyone's trust because of how I conducted myself when I left. I'm gonna take whoever I'm contractually obligated to wrestle, no matter who, no matter where, no matter when. I'm very much looking forward to wrestle Stan Hansen in Charlotte.

However, this is the only event in which Bravo is advertised in the Pre-Bash tour. He'll resume his touring duties on July 5 in Richmond, BC.
