Enjoyed the Ray Traylor talk here. Do you feel he rebounded at all in WWF towards the end of the decade?

I'm halfway through now. Alan is someone who is probably on a wildly different part of the wrestling spectrum than I am but he always comes off as hugely likable as a human being. (Rob is also as far from me as you can get but for the little bit of the lucha section I've heard so far he's great at instantly having answers to any question they might toss at him about some obscure undercard luchador from 20 years ago; never question the guy's factual knowledge).

 

Also, as a head's up, I bought a t-shirt for my dad (who teaches Criminal Justice at the community college level) on a lark for late Father's Day that'll probably end up on the Amazon game next week and will pop Bix.

Traylor did fine in his WWF return I thought and yes the WCW section on Monday is going to be a hoot

Chris Jericho has a bit in his first book about meeting Bischoff for the first time around this time and he was going to suggest "Philoshave Phil" and "Octane" as names for Hall and Nash.

This episode really makes me want to check out some mid 90's AAA, I'm not that familiar with Lucha but Rey and Psychosis were two of my favorites in WCW.

 

Pullman was a big part of the WWF becoming more Attitude but if he had stayed at least a 9 more months it would've been nice to see him and Benoit team up.I'm sure he wouldve exited WCW after NWO came in and Benoit probably would've left too. WCW section of these mid 90s shows make me think how much better off WCW wouldve been if Hogan hadn't come in or if he'd left before mid 98.
