soup23 Posted July 17, 2017 Report Share Posted July 17, 2017 In a month with not a lot of eye popping stuff, this was a pleasant surprise and was great. Yagi and Asari have matched up so well in unconventional settings as their sprint at the J-Cup proved. Now, they are mixed in with an intergender contest and it does the best job of working that stipulation that we have seen up to this point. Some of the exchanges that Yagi pulls off in particular are jaw dropping such as her arm drag where she grabs Asari at the very last possible moment. I also got a big kick of Sasuke retreating from her by running to the entrance in a very believable faction. Overall, this just hit for me both from a novelty and workrate standpoint. Jetlag Posted July 17, 2017 Report Share Posted July 17, 2017 This got 20 MINUTES and was worked like a big match. It seems to be from an M-Pro show, but I'll let it count as best of ARSION. The early guy vs. Guy sections were pretty filler and resthold-y. The girl vs. Girl sections were good as in „two wrestlers who have fought eachother a bunch doing their stuff“. For some reason, the guys gave the girls a ton of offense and stooging a bunch. Maybe they were trying to be gentlemen. Yagi did a mix of spaced out lucha armdrags, judo throws and armbars which was cool. Asari did her usual athletic stuff and looked quite good. The finishing stretch was built around guy vs. Girl and then girl vs. Girl sections and pretty fun. This took a bit to get going but for this type of lucharesu action I'd say it got going good. Tim Evans Posted November 12, 2017 Report Share Posted November 12, 2017 Yagi is so good in this. She might be my new favorite joshi wrestler. She works good with Asari and even Sasuke. I even liked the intergender stuff in this because it's not played for laughs or look incredibly fake like most intergender wrestling. All four were entertaining, even Tiger mask. ohtani's jacket Posted August 13, 2018 Report Share Posted August 13, 2018 I don't think this flowed very well. The men didn't seem comfortable working with the women. When they made a save they would break the girls up like they were children fighting and every time they did intergender stuff the women got all the offense. Surely, they could have done some exhibition-y stuff where it didn't matter too much that the women were bumping for an arm drag or something similar. I'm pretty sure the Apaches vs. Hamadas was less stunted than this. Yagi was fun to watch but that's a given on most nights. She got way too much offense against Sasuke but that was due to the strange nature of the match. The finishing stretch wasn't bad but the match would have been better if they'd done more double teaming to make it a more competitive bout.
