CWF Mid-Atlantic

I'm using the Filsinger card game for this booking. Because of this, I have no control over who wins so keep that in mind as this promotion advances. I'm also going to try and be realistic to who I think would potentially work in CWF Mid-Atlantic. I'm not running this in real time or anything so you might see a flurry of shows over a short period of time and some droughts where I'm not posting anything.

The format I'm probably going to do for the first few months is weekly TV with a monthly bigger event. The monthly events might get reduced down depending on how I feel.

Highlights of the tournaments kick off the show. The highlight package ends with Andy Dalton giving the Piledriver to Trevor Lee.
CWF Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Trevor Lee is backstage. He says that you know when you win the top belt in an area that it puts a target on your back. But he never thought he would get blindsided before he even got out of the building the first night. He tells Andy Dalton that this isn't Texas. He's in the Carolinas, this is his home turf. The Mid-Atlantic name means a lot to him and this belt means a lot to him. This is his part of the country and if Dalton wants to test him, he's going to be found wanting.

Chet Sterling vs. Chip Day

CWF Mid-Atlantic Television Title Tournament:
Chip Day d. Chet Sterling w/ a cross body block
Caprice Coleman is backstage. Big night tonight as he gets the first shot at Trevor Lee and the Mid-Atlantic Championship. He reminds everyone that he's been a staple of the Mid-Atlantic area for well over a decade. He built this area back up to the hotbed of wrestling it currently is. He thinks he's owed a little respect for that. He won't be pushed aside for a flavor of the month like Trevor Lee.
CWF Mid-Atlantic Television Title Tournament:
Andrew Everett d. John Kermon w/ the 630 Splash
Jake Manning and Grizzly Redwood are outside of the Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium. Manning says that he's here to help Redwood get his merit badge for helping old ladies across the street. They'll gladly accept the challenge.

A video package plays for Brian Fury. He talks about how he's wrestled almost everywhere there is to wrestle. He's not a big name or someone that gets brought up in everyday conversation. This tournament is the perfect challenge and he's going to win the Television Championship.

CWF Worldwide #3: 10/18/2017
taped from Gibsonville, NC
The show starts off with highlights of the tag team brawl that ended last week's show.
CWF Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions Arik Royal and Roy Wilkins are backstage. Roy laughs about the events at the end of last week's show. He calls the Carnies and Sandwich Squad a couple of chump teams. When people talk about CWF Mid-Atlantic Wrestling two of the first names that come to mind are Arik Royal and Roy Wilkins. They've been at or near the top in this area for a long time. It can be either team or both in a match. These belts are staying with them for a long long time.
The announcers kick off the show. They talk about how no one knows who will be Trevor Lee's partner tonight. They both wonder if he might have to go it alone against Andy Dalton and Caprice Coleman. Also tonight are the semi-finals of the CWF Mid-Atlantic Television Title tournament. The announcers also announce that the CWF Rumble 2017 will be taking place on Friday, October 27th. Tickets are now on sale.
CWF Mid-Atlantic Television Title Tournament Semi-Final:
Jake Manning d. Chip Day by DQ
Grizzly Redwood got involved in the match. He tried to trip up Chip Day but Day grabbed him and tossed him into the ring. In all the confusion Day accidently hit the referee and was disqualified as a result. Jake Manning helped Grizzly Redwood to the back afterwards.
Andy Dalton and Caprice Coleman come down to the ring. Dalton says he's heard that no one wants to be Trevor Lee's partner for tonight. Coleman chimes in and says that's just too bad. Dalton has an offer for Trevor Lee. If he comes out in tonight's main event and hands over the CWF Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship then they won't give him the beating of his life. Coleman thinks that's a fair trade and says that he's eagerly awaiting the main event.
CWF Mid-Atlantic Television Title Tournament Semi-Final:
Brian Fury d. Andrew Everett by DQ
During the match Fury kept trying to cheat but couldn't get Everett down. Finally he pretended to have suffered an intentional low blow from Everett. He rolled around on the ground until the referee called for the DQ. Everett argued with the referee when suddenly Fury hit him from behind.
Andy Dalton and Caprice Coleman come out for their match. Dalton gets on the mic and says it's decision time. CWF Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Trevor Lee comes down to the ring. He paces around the ring when music hits.

CWF Worldwide #4: 10/25/2017
taped from Gibsonville, NC
CWF Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Trevor Lee is backstage. Coming up this Friday night, the cheap shots will end, the trash talking will end. Andy Dalton will have to get in the ring with him and actually wrestle a match. Jason Kincaid, Jake Manning, Jimmy Rave and Roy Wilkins. He beat those four men in one night to win this belt. It was a grueling process but now he has the belt and he's not going to let a loud mouthed punk like Andy Dalton take it from him. He said previously, the Carolinas are his territory.
The Sandwich Squad are backstage. Coming up in just a few short days they get their shot at the tag team titles. Mecha Mercenary asks Aaron Biggs if they'll celebrate their win at Subway afterwards. Biggs says winning the tag titles means they're going to Jersey Mike's.
Chip Day d. Jason Kincaid w/ the Atomic Northern Lights Bomb
The ringside announcer stops Chip Day after the match and asks about his match with Grizzly Redwood this Friday. Chip says that there's a match to crown the first ever CWF Mid-Atlantic Television Champion later tonight and he's not in the match because Grizzly Redwood got involved in his match. He's going to teach Grizzly Redwood about respect and staying out of his business.
Andy Dalton and Caprice Coleman are backstage. Coleman gives a shout out to Chet Sterling. Friday night he's giving Sterling a free wrestling lesson. Dalton chimes in and says the big match is finally this Friday. He's going to be talking that CWF Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship off of Trevor Lee. Lee can complain about cheap shots all he wants but this is wrestling. It's about anything goes. If Lee doesn't like that then he should take up another form of employment.
The Sandwich Squad d. Juicy Product w/ the Hero Sandwich
Nick Iggy and Kerry Awful came down to ringside during the match. There was some trash talk between the Sandwich Squad and the Carnies during the match. Afterwards the Carnies attacked and it was a brawl in the ring. Arik Royal and Roy Wilkins joined the fray before security rushed the ring and broke it up.

Love the idea of taking the control of who wins out of your hands. This makes it more fun for you as it adds a level of suspense.

It also creates moments you would never think of. In a previous promotion the Destroyer won a battle royal for a World Title shot and then won the title the same night. It was really cool and not something I would have done when I was in complete control.

That's a little bit how I book my territory in the 1983 Project (except that I use TEW, not Filsinger, although that's not the first time I hear about this) and it really makes it more fun and more challenging because you have to adjust on the fly and adapt what you wanted to do to what you've been dealt.

I'm already enjoying that series, Mad Dog. I'm familiar with a couple of names in there and I'm looking forward to see where you'll be going with this! :)

Andy Dalton is in the ring and he made them cut off the video before the end. He says no one is going to see the ending of that match. Corey Edsel comes down to the ring. He talked things over with Trevor Lee. Lee is very upset about the cheap shot and Piledriver after the match. Chet Sterling d. Jason Kincaid w/ the Blockbuster
Brian Fury is being interviewed backstage. He's asked about cheering on CW Anderson at the CWF Rumble. Fury says that he was out there showing respect for a fellow wrestling veteran in a match. taped from Gibsonville, NC
Andy Dalton and Caprice Coleman come down to the ring. Dalton talks about the brutality that can go on with a dog collar match. He doesn't think Trevor Lee made a smart choice there. That sort of match is right up his alley. This mistake is going to cost him the championship, he guarantees it.
Andy Dalton d. John Kermon w/ the Piledriver
Jimmy Rave and Lance Archer are backstage. Rave says this is a big night for them. They have a chance to earn a shot at the CWF Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Titles. November is shaping up to be a big month for them. They're going to win the titles and Lance Archer pinned the Mid-Atlantic Champion Trevor Lee last week. Archer says that he's rooting for Trevor Lee in that dog collar match. You see, he wants the pleasure of being the man to pin Lee and take that Mid-Atlantic Championship belt. There will be a day of reckoning between the two of them soon and he's going to put Lee down for the 1-2-3 again.
Outside the arena we see Jake Manning and Grizzly Redwood standing by a forest fire. Manning says that Grizzly failed to get his fire starting merit badge but he is in luck. He did qualify for the arsonists merit badge and hands it over to Grizzly. They then flee the scene as sirens can be heard.

CWF Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Trevor Lee is backstage with a dog collar on. He knows Andy Dalton thinks that he can't cut it in a brutal dog collar match. Well that was his first mistake. You don't get to hold a top singles belt in any promotion without being able to handle any variety of match that gets thrown at you. He's going to put Dalton in his place once and for all.

Adrian Armour d. Lucas Calhoun w/ a cross body block

Lucas Calhoun attacks Armour after the match. He hits a Samoan Drop and then does a variety of Elvis poses and karate moves in the ring before leaving. He has no idea who that will be but he doubts they'll be taking these belts. Wilkins agrees. He shakes Royal's hand and wishes him luck in the Johnny Weaver Memorial Tournament and hopes they'll meet in the finals.

2017 Johnny Weaver Memorial Cup Winner Cedric Alexander comes down to the ring. He tells the fans that it was a real honor to take part in the tournament for this trophy. It's a real honor to own something that bears the name of an absolute wrestling legend like Johnny Weaver. Now it's time for him to get ready for his next big match and that's challenge Trevor Lee for the CWF Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Championship. He knows that Battlecade is coming up on December 30th and he thinks that would be a great time to challenge for the belt. Lance Archer interrupts. He mentions that he is the only man that has pinned CWF Mid-Atlantic. He might not have a fancy trophy but he's pinned the champion and that should count for someone. Lance Archer climbs into the ring and just as it looks like they'll come to blows Corey Edsel comes out. He tells them he doesn't want some giant brawl starting this show off. He tells them that they will both get title shots and he will determine who gets the first shot on next week's show.

Chet Sterling d. Jason Kincaid w/ the Blockbuster

Chip Day is backstage. For the last couple of months he's had to tolerate the shenanigans of Jake Manning and Grizzly Redwood.
