MCW continues to pull away for me in the Memphis war just based on talent as this also a good bit of fun for the four minutes it lasted. Reckless hits a nice gutwrench powerbomb and a tornado DDT on the bigger Regal. GSR Posted January 14, 2018 Report Share Posted January 14, 2018 Before the bout gets underway Reckless says how he’s wrestling this match under protest, because not one of these people here deserve to see a talent like Reckless Youth wrestle in this ring right now! Straight arm lift by Regal as he looks to be targeting the left arm of Youth. Reckless ducks under a clothesline and a headscissors take down. He drops a knee across the forehead while continuing to favour that arm. Whip to the turnbuckle only to run into a Regal big boot. Blue Thunder Driver from this Lordship for a two. Reckless retaliates to some Regal forearms with some of his own, and lands the tornado DDT for a near fall. Bodyslam, but he misses the moonsault and Regal clamps on the ‘Regal stretch’ for the win. We’re getting quite a few sub-five minute matches in Memphis at the moment and here’s another. Not a lot to say really, fine little tussle but you just want more. It is announced during the match though that Hollywood Little is in no condition to compete tonight. He therefore won’t be facing Al K. Holic for the MCW Light Heavyweight title and Al K. will have a statement to make in regards to that later in the show. Looks like common sense prevailed on that front then! AstroBoy Posted February 5, 2018 Report Share Posted February 5, 2018 I enjoyed some of the close quarters battling between these two guys, throwing short little shots at each other's faces. Regal looks impressive performing a somersault senton and also a blue thunder driver at one point, liked his matwork early on too. Reckless does a nice job cutting him off and finding opportunities to go on offense, and it builds to a nice quick ending off the missed moonsault. **1/4 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
