The highest tickets cost 35,000 Indian Rupees. That amounts to about 535 USD, in straight currency conversion. It includes WWE merchandise as well as Meet & Greet with them. Thise will pretty much be comped seats given to dignitaries and the VIPS I think (India has a massive VIP culture); there isn't even an option to purchase them at the online ticketing site. Normal ringside seats will cost 18000 Indian Rupees, which is around 275 USD in straight conversion. The cheapest seats cost 3200 INR, which is the equivalent of 50 dollars; however, in terms of real purchasing power, 3200 is a lot more for us than 50 dollars is for Americans. Same with 275 and 535 USD.

The seats are definitely much more expensive than they are for even PPVs in America. There were supposed to be 2 shows but tickets are available for only one, so they either cancelled one show due to poor sales or that sold out. The latter is unlikely; advanced booking in India still means that you purchase tickets mostly 1-3 days before the event. Before December 09, there will probably be a great surge of tickets being sold for this event as well. However, these tickets are no joke. 3200 INR is like, 1/12th or so the monthly salary of a lot of the youngsters they are targeting - the kids will probably convince their parents to take them out as a family trip - so a ticket for the bleachers will also cost a bomb as well, relatively speaking.

RE the WWE India show, apparently the ticket prices are astronomical. $700 dollars ringside for a house show is ridiculous in any market. So perhaps it isn't a bad mark on Jinder so much as the reality is that no one could draw two houses at those prices.

I'm not justifying WWE's crazy prices but those are not much different from the shows here in Chile. The first one sold out pretty quickly and ringside and "platinum" (guardrail and floor seats) were $270. Second night didn't sell out but it still got a good number. Seems WWE thought they could get away with it in India too.

Depending on how in depth a meet and greet we're talking about, maybe I can see justifying that kind of cost. If it's like an assembly line of handshakes and a selfie, it's probably not worth it. If you get to spend a few minutes with each guy and maybe get some merch signed or whatnot I can see it being worthwhile especially the first time in the market.

It still seems that they overpriced themselves though, especially after what MoS had to say about spending power.

I don't think they screw us Euros that bad these days, though it's been about three and a half years since I went to a WWE house show so I'm behind the times on ticket prices

I think you're talking £30, so around $40

How much do Meet and Greets with superstars like Triple H, Roman Reigns and others high on the totem pole cost generally? The 535 USD I outlined includes that as well as front row seats.

No clue. To my knowledge the only people being able to attend a Meet & Greet were part of WWE's "Street Team" - something they created in the 00's as a way to get feedback from fans - who got free tickets (if available, most were for the second show) and a chance to hang out before the show with a couple wrestlers, none were big stars. I think this year it was Carmella and Tye Dillinger.

To be fair, all these changes are making the SS card better on paper at least.

Also it's a testament to the abuse he put himself through that Ric Flair looks a million times better not that far removed from a near death experience than he did the years leading up to it. He's like one of those episodes of Intervention where they show the person in rehab after and it looks like a different person.

Great ending there. Say what you want about the changes but wwe has gone all out in promoting this show. I would say it has been much better hyped than Summerslam was as far as the "big 4" shows go.

With that ending you would think SD is going over Sunday but I think there is genuine intrigue and interest in the finish. They could go several different routes here

Man if you thought those $200 Wrestlemania tickets tomorrow were going to be nuts that isn't anything like India. They are going to have to go the Impact route and hire some "fans". Although to be fair that was probably the most excited anyone was to see a TNA show

The best parts of that brawl were:

1. Roman Reigns will destroy anyone but not the Usos. And vice versa. Great touch

2. Once again John Cena is a shitty friend and partner to have. Guess you can add Orton to that as well.

3. Alexis Bliss with an incredible shot to Charlotte.

4. I will assume that Sami and Kevin leaving will be their turning on Smackdown part of the matches. We know that Jason Jordan is going to do something so no matter to have more than one of those scenarios

of course the worst part is even though Shane got the 2 Shield powerbombs and an Angle slam he will probably be involved in the main event somehow

All I saw was the go-home segment and nothing else. Was there an explanation earlier in the show for why Daniel Bryan wasn't even around during the closing angle? I'm guessing there was, but just wondering.

Him and Shane had a backstage segment earlier where Bryan said he was still upset with Shane for not telling him about invading Raw last month. He told Shane he'd see him Sunday implying he was leaving

As I mentioned there are several different ways they can go with the finish. My gut says Jordan costs Raw the match setting up a beef between Hunter and Angle and the hook for Monday will be if .Stephanie fires Angle or not.

Sami and Owens costing .SD seems too obvious now with them already walking out tonight but they obviously could still go that way

I'm guessing they'll be teasing Sami/Owens costing SD, only to have it be JJ doing the shocking (to no one) turn to cost Raw. Angle being fired as GM and coming back as old school psycho Kurt breaking ankles to get revenge fits with how they've built things so far.

I have no idea what prompted the nonstop changes to the Survivor Series lineup over the past couple weeks as its produced a more interesting show from a booking perspective while also improving how things look in the ring, but I have no idea what prompted it as its not as though they can hotshot a buy rate.

So we've got a 4 hour show on Sunday. What's the over/under on entrance time allotted to the men's SS match? Minutes and seconds, please.

In my headcanon, Vince woke up one day like Ice Cube at the end of It Was a Good Day all "what the fuck am I thinking" after looking at the card.

I will say; the constant changing to the card has actually made it a bit more intriguing as to where it's all going to go. In an ideal world, you'd prefer that they'd build a show that felt like that without a hundred changes but still, things seem pretty hot right now.

And WWE always nail those big show-ending, huge brawls but I especially liked the Raw women stomping into the Smackdown locker room and throwing down. That's something that they would never have dreamed of doing with the women a while back.

They cancelled one. Wait, it's not a cancellation, really : “To meet the requests of WWE fans in India, and deliver the biggest main event in the country's history, WWE is combining two nights of family-friendly action into a one-night only, exclusive Supershow.” (Times of India : https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/sports/wwe/top-stories/triple-h-vs-jinder-mahal-to-headline-wwe-live-india-supershow-on-9th-december/articleshow/61640063.cms)

Hey, for one show and one match, it was all worth it, right ? RIGHT ?
