The final entrant for the WWC will be Ricky Santana.

Bam Bam Bigelow (despite his manger Barrabas not being pleased about it) is looking for a worthy challenger at  the event.

Is Bam Bam still looking for a challenger? Sgt. Slaughter is itching for a rematch.

Awesome.  I'm not sure we can run that match too often.

Just imagine how much Bigelow could have learned from a run with an experienced big man brawler like Sarge early in his career.

Yeah, one of the reasons I'm glad he's in the AWA is all of the great brawlers, both young and experienced alike.  Great place for a guy like Bigelow to spend his time.

Holy crap.  Terry Funk vs. Buddy Rose!!  Orndorff vs. Brody!  Magnum vs. Piper, Dusty vs. Baba...Ron Starr vs. Kerry Von Erich could be sneaky kinds of good too.  But some of those match-ups are ridiculous.

Is there a bracket challenge for this? I could see it going one of 32 different ways

Good Grief!!!! That first round is full of main event matches! This is shaping up to be one of the most epic events I've ever seen.

Yeah. And I'm the one who has to figure out who goes over in every match. I might have made things a tad complicated to book LOL

I guess we could make some predictions prior to the tournament, sure! :)

My "Elite 8" predictions:

Terry Funk vs Bruiser Brody

Rick Martel vs Magnum TA

Jumbo Tsuruta vs John Studd

Nikita Koloff vs Kerry Von Erich

"FInal Four"

Martel vs Terry

Jumbo vs Kerry

"FInals"

Any of the four possible match-ups would be great, and any of those four would be worthy winners. I'll guess Kerry vs Terry with Von Erich going over... ???

I am 100 per cent confident on zero of those picks. Like LowBlow said, this could go 32 different ways.
