More excited for TakeOver tonight than I am for Wrestlemania tomorrow. Tomorrow is more about the spectacle, the glitz & glam, the environment. Tonight is more about the matches, for me. It feels more old school... and Ciampa/Gargano is a big reason why I'm excited. Great build!

Ladder match is going to be insane.

Hope Ember Moon drops that title. I still think she's pretty bad.

Black/Almas should be fun. Almas has been cash lately. Putting Vega with Almas was a great move.

Tag match could go either way. Authors of Pain are so weird to me. It's like, I always think "eh, they're OK. Match won't be anything special." Then the match is really good and I act surprised. Eventually I gotta give them credit. They really bring it on big shows.

I keep hearing this from every podcast and Coffey just said it, why does everyone hate Ember Moon?

She's a completely solid pro wrestler. She's never had a bad match on NXT. She's had many really good matches on Take Overs, including some awesome ones with Asuka. I really don't understand this.

Ember Moon is super solid and has a cool look. Nothing to hate. And yeah, she had the best Asuka matches in NXT too. Love me some Ember Moon.

I'll probably watch NXT tomorrow sometime before Mania, or wait until Monday to keep a fresh head for what should be a terrific card.

I'm not seeing anything Ember's done that I would call good, including any of her NXT weekly stuff or Takeover stuff. She's very bland & awkward & her gimmick sucks. Her finish is too over the top & there's something about her movements that feels incredible phony. AJ Lee used to do the same thing, like she has to jump start herself before starting to do a move (especially running moves) and it's really weird to watch.

Don't dig her at all. I think she's worse in the ring than Peyton Royce. Wasn't a fan of hers pre-NXT as Athena either. Never got the love for her and think she's a bad champ and a bad babyface.

I'm really pumped for this. I'm even staying awake extra for this, which practically never happens.

Gargano/Ciampa should be insanely amazing.

The ladder match should be a really fun car crash.

I've been a fan of Black when he still was Tommy End, so I'm dying to (hopefully) win the title.

I genuinely don't know who is winning Gargano/Ciampa either which makes the match more fun. Gargano has lost quite a bit lately, Ciampa is just back from injury. Could see Gargano going to the main roster... so I don't know. Going to be fun regardless.

Like Gargano has to win right? I don't know how you can have his whole career so ruined by Ciampa and not have him get any revenge.

He can win, then finally get the title by beating Amas, once he conquered Ciampa. It's really the only way to book it.

Him losing would be the most depressing angle ever.

He should win, from a wrestling story perspective. But he dies so well, I expect there to at the very least be some post-match stuff to give us a rematch.

I just love how both are so good at what they're currently doing. Gargano as the sympathetic babyface & Ciampa as the dastardly sneak-attacking heel.

They were going to have Daniel Bryan face Sheamus in a midcard match after the authority angle that he needed to win to pay it off. They had a black wrestler get run down by the white heel champion and then...lost the match. Heck there is talk of Daniel Bryan getting backstabbed by his partner in his very first match out of retirement. Heels have to win sometimes. Gargano is more likely to jump to the main roster than he is to stay in NXT.

Anyways if Gargano won, it's not like Ciampa would leave it alone. We'd have to see him in NXT for a few more months if you want him to win the belt too eventually. The WWE doesn't seem to have that time to wait for Gargano to do all that before getting called up. So it is better to just troll the fans and have Ciampa win this, then move Gargano up and have them revisit the feud later when Ciampa gets called up and maybe have Gargano finally win there.
