  1. She hasn't really been put in a position to do much so far, but yeah, she looks cooked.
  2. Honestly, it was hilarious. Like a Lesnar Suplex City match on downers.
  3. This tournament just gets worse and worse. Kind of crazy that we could have a New Japan tournament without a single **** match.
  4. Take a look at who Kevin Kelly follows on Twitter. He's a Qanon guy, has been for at least a few years.
  5. He's got enough money that he assuredly could buy any of the existing second-tier companies, although most of them already seem like vanity projects. I guess not TNA, although I really can't imagine Vince going that direction. If he were to do anything, I think it'd be a new company. I actually do think he could get decent TV of some sort based on his reputation. The bigger question is who he could get to be the lynchpin? Brock?

    AEW Revolution 2024

The Bucks taking their PWG tornado tag match (complete with Rick Knox) to a PPV main event with Sting and literally getting to superkick the past was incredible.

    AEW TV 2/28 - 3/2

Julia's hurt and I don't believe is cleared yet based on the reporting.
  8. I think the AEW fanbase appreciates a variety in their wrestling that tends toward someone like Hook or Jade getting over. But it's obviously a problem for developing workers who don't have experience to advance the meme status. Compare this to, say, Orange Cassidy, who everyone thought would flame out - turns out having years working indies in a variety of styles / characters allows you to have a sense of your character that lets them evolve. I don't yet see Hook evolving much, and Jade hasn't (we'll see if WWE can help her do it).
  9. Korakuen has a handy calendar. https://www.tokyo-dome.co.jp/en/tourists/hall/events.html
  10. One of the wall name that has certainly been talking to WWE a lot lately - Scott D'Amore. Not a lot of other available people have run TV wrestling companies at any level. Could also see him as the wrestling guy in charge if they put in a corporate guy as the figurehead.
  11. The good Sting matches have been wild spotfests in AEW, which would be something I'd turn to the Bucks for over FTR.
  12. The answer is you don't do the 3 way tie. I think they go with a Mox-White draw, and Swerve winning to get to the next round. I still think we're getting to Danielson and Kingston as the top two on the other side.
  13. I don't know if it's quite that cynical, but I do think she may not be particularly bothered if they want to pay her to not work. I'm sure she wants to take her shot at WWE SuperStardom, but it doesn't strike me with her that that's her be all end all.
  14. Mox worked in Japan LAST MONTH. FTR worked multiple shows in Japan and in England. Eddie Kingston did the G1. Gates of Agony and Lance Archer are currently in tag league. Plus all these guys get to do big matches as part of Forbidden Door. Further, I really don't think any of these guys are looking to do full tours. When Ospreay "wants to work New Japan," I assume it means he wants to work the Tokyo Dome and maybe one or two other big shows. TK's shown that be very plausible. That's a real difference with WWE, where they've only shown a willingness to work with New Japan on guys already committed there (Good Brothers). NJPW is absolutely the junior partner at the moment and they know it.
