  1. Thanks! PWI was how I got into non-WWF wrestling in the late 1980s/early 1990s as it was the only way you could find out about that stuff in the UK at that time. Plus I love Dynamite.
  2. Hello everyone, I hope you don't mind my posting this here (and if there are any issues with that, please delete my post). I'm the WWE Editor at Sky Sports in the UK and we've recently launched a podcast to complement what we do in our other online output. This week we had Bayley on as a guest and previously we've interviewed Triple H, Ronda Rousey and some other more 'from the past' type names. You can find it in iTunes here - https://itunes.apple.com/gb/podcast/sky-sports-lock-up/id1355711985?mt=2. I welcome all feedback! And, as I say, if I've broken any rules by posting this, please take the appropriate action. Thanks.
  3. Surely they'd have been better off just having Flair feud with Steamboat, and maybe having the Nasty Boys work on the merchandise stand or something?
  4. Mick Foley v Trish Stratus would be an interesting match.
  5. Yet another vote here for Tully-Magnum. What I like about it, what makes it seem really intense and visceral, is the inclusion of the microphone. Hearing the gasps for breath over the public address and an extra amplification (literally) when someone gets clocked with it, gives it the edge as far as I'm concerned. Such a unique and effective thing to do; I'm surprised it hasn't been copied more.
  6. None of the actual PPV-broadcasted events are missing, but what might be confusing is that under the ECW PPV's section there are three random ECW Home Video released events from 95 and 96 in there. The first actual broadcasted PPV event was Barely Legal 1997. If you go from there it's complete on the PPV front. Ah okay, thanks for that.
  7. Quick question for any British posters who used to watch WoS wrestling back in the day - where did you watch it? (I have a theory). (also - apologies for tangential post)
  8. I could do with some guidance too - but from a Network perspective. I've just cashed in my three months free membership and I'm thinking I'll watch all of the ECW PPVs in chronological order, although it looks like some are missing?
  9. Hello guys. I'm thinking about subscribing - are they all individual matches or can you watch a card/event at a time? Apologies for noobness etc
  10. Good stuff, I enjoyed that. Thanks for posting.
  11. Ha he was world champ. Indeed. And as far as I know, he never held any WWF championship gold.
  12. Surely Bruiser Brody deserves a mention? And how about Wahoo McDaniel? Or have I just listened to too many Flair stories about him?
