  1. Excellent thread. Can I suggest a few TV matches from Lesnar's original run that might be worth revisiting: 01/07/02 RAW vs Flair 22/07/02 RAW vs Dreamer 30/07/02 Smackdown vs Henry 13/08/02 Smackdown vs Rikishi 03/09/02 Smackdown vs Orton 05/11/02 Smackdown vs Eddie Guerrero 22/04/03 Smackdown vs A-Train 24/06/03 Smackdown WGTT and Big Show vs Lesnar, Angle, Mr America 08/07/03 Smackdown vs WGTT/Big Show 12/08/03 Smackdown vs Spanky 19/08/03 Smackdown vs Zach Gowen 07/10/03 Smackdown vs Paul London
  2. Punk and Flair tagged in one of Flair's last WWE matches on ECW in February 2008, against Shelton Benjamin and Elijah Burke. How about Vader and Savage? I am sure they never had a singles match... I think Sabu vs Angle and Angle vs Flair only happened the once in Summer of 2006- would have loved to have seen Angle vs Finlay or Angle vs Sandman from around the same time (or indeed Finlay vs Sandman) but don't think they happened outside of possible interactions in the pre ECW 2006 battle royal on the TV special....
  3. Does he still have Kylan from Norton, New Jersey as the first caller on nearly every phone in show?
  4. Looking back at the first page, he looks like he aged a good 20 years between 1994 and 2000.
  5. There was some crazy tag match from around Fully Loaded 1998 with, I think, Kane/Mankind, Austin/Taker, the Outlaws and Rock and Dlo that really stood out to me at the time. I would also shorten the parameters of this to pre 2000, as the departure of Russo, the arrival of the Radicals and the ascendency of Edge, Christian, the Hardy's and Angle led to longer matches with less run ins and nonsense. I could easily pick decent TV stuff from 00-01 but really struggle for 98-99 fwiw.
  6. The cop-killer/double stomp combo that Homicide and Low ki used on Jay Lethal at Manhattan Mayhem in 2005 was particularly nasty looking, can't think of a non botched move that I have cringed more at...
  7. Vader vs Boss man from Spring Stampede 1994 is a fun super heavyweight sprint where they knock the stuffing out of each other. Bossman's best match?

    Current WWE

That's bad news, a shame they never gave him a chance on the main roster. At least some of his standard NXT matches are out there and easily available as a record of what he did manage. Vs Regal in particular was awesome, and I look forward to seeing vs Harper from this week. On an unrelated note, does anyone else think 2013 has been the best year for ages for WWE televised matches? Thge Shield vs everyone has consistently delivered, with the Rhodes brothers and Usos coming along really well in the latter part of the year. Mix that with Bryan's consistency and great stuff from Cena and Punk on occasion, along with random NXT stuff and I wish someone could put together a decent comprehensive comp of just the WWE TV matches to show what a year it has been...

    WCW Invasion

Would it include the Heat/Velocity stuff as well, as El-P did in this thread with Saturday Night etc earlier. Living in the UK, the only terrestrial TV exposure we had was Heat, and I recall some pretty random matches with WCW guys against low card WWF people through the summer of 2001 - they would be fun to revisit...
  10. Apart from the Stud Stable stuff, does the Horsemen/Doom street fight from Starrcade 1990 count - always loved that one, particularly how much they got in to the time they had for the match.
  11. Excuse me if I have completely missed him after reading both lists twice, but where does Fit Finlay place on your list?
  12. Is his match with Jerry Lynn from, I think, 2011, available online anywhere, is it any good? I have a FIP match vs Austin Aries from 2005 buried somewhere - could be fun! I remember loving the little run X Pac had during the summer of 2001 - his match against Taijiri from Summerslam in particular stood out at the time, were there any other highlights? I remember the Kidman match from the ppv being OK and a match where RVD countered the X Factor by doing the splits...
  13. Pretty much everyone threw decent European uppercuts *in* Europe, but Rudge, Roberts, Steele, Singh, Roach, Kilby and Finlay could have formed a nice forearm smash club. I always thought Dave Taylor threw the best European Uppercuts from that bunch, they always really stood out in his matches.
