Yello again, everybody! I know we have a lot of old school fans on here, so thought Id help out Scott Bowden and promote his new podcast, Kentucky Fried Rasslin. Scott is a former Memphis manager, best known for managing such stars as Eddie Gilbert, Doug Gilbert and Tommy Rich and getting into verbal altercations with Dave Brown, Randy Hales, Miss Texas and Downtown Bruno. I help him out with his podcast, working behind the scenes, to help provide fun art of some of your favorite Memphis wrestlers and Memphis moments. With that being said... Episode 15 of the KFR podcast is so packed, we moved it to the main event time slot: 8 p.m. Monday night. The Great Brian Last and I will be welcoming referee Jerry Calhoun, who will discuss another big Monday night in Memphis Wrestling history: The Last Sellout at the Mid-South Coliseum on March 3, 1986. Just a FYI: just because they (Louisville and Memphis) were in the same “territory” means nothing; they aren’t remotely the same when it comes to legality or anything (they’re like six hours apart, lol). While many people here in Louisville probably knew the name Jerry Lawler, he’s really not what you’d call any kind of “local celebrity” whatsoever.

I can't argue with this at all

Eh, I really don't buy this. Myself, and many friends, started watching in the early 80s and watched all thru the 90s and we never talked about that. We preferred the NWA/Memphis/Mid South style but still watched the WWF. I probably went to 75/80 percent of shows at the Louisville gardens from 82 to 96 and never heard stuff like that WHEN I started hearing it is when the WWF basically became a monopoly in 2001. That's when my friends kinda gave up

Anyone who is put off by the "wackiness" should at least skip ahead to the interviews, they are always great The wackiness can be the best part where some great stories come up that have nothing to do with the original line of questioning. I call this section the "lucky dip". Exactly. The top 10 has become an important history lesson as well. ...and there should be some fun art coming up today from the stories during the top 10

Yeah, after this latest podcast (The Radicalz), I'm checking out of this podcast. I thought it could be interesting when it first started, but eh....you would think he has an earpiece and Vince is feeding him lines.

This has quickly become a potentially interesting podcast to an, eh, it's going to be some back ground noise while I do some art. I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet, but I found it ironic that he ripped Tully on the podcast, saying why should anyone believe him since he was a Coke head, yet at the beginning, Bruce admitted to his own alcohol and drug usage (note: he said he'd tried Coke, but didn't like it, so never really used it). The funniest thing about that latest podcast? For years, I thought it was a government witch hunt, but I never read anything about it (other than heard people talking about the testimonies and such), but after hearing him talk about it, it seemed like the WWF was shady as hell about it. I thought he came off horrible
