  1. LOL. Sorry about that. The first two times I did the show I turned the AC off because I was paranoid about it picking up and in the process roasted. So of course this time I turn it off and instead I sit next to a fan this time not realizing it was making that much noise. Believe me, I'd have rather had bacon. I'm glad everyone enjoyed the show. Kris and Rob are the Letterman/Murray of podcasts.
  2. I cant even tell you how excited I was when I saw Low Ki had been announced for MPW against Super Dragon back in the day or when Dragon and BBOY were going to be in best of the best. Every region of the country was their own territory and to cross over then was a big fn deal.
  3. This is a good pt. 15 years ago I was living at home going to school and could stay up till 4 am watching tapes/chatting, wake up, go to class, come home and watch more tapes. Now with a job, bills, etc. it's a struggle for me to stay awake past 10 on a weeknight and unless it's on TV right then I have a hard time watching it. I try to DVR but on the weekends I usually find myself wanting to do other things.
  4. Thoroughly enjoyed this. Like others have said it brought back a lot of old online memories. I was trying to find the Scoops parody Scoop This! archive recently but haven't come across it. And I remember the first time I met Bix was in "Extreme" Eric Tuttle's tape trading MIRC chatroom probably 1997ish. Jesus!
  5. Thanks very much bradhindsight. I really do appreciate that. A name I forgot to bring up in regards to Wildside was The Allstar Cru Jones who was doing a modern day Al Bundy gimmick. He played a D-bag ex high school football player. A very simple worker but the heat that guy got from the crowd was amazing. Not to mention coming out to Super Thug by NOREGA made me laugh. Wildside really evolved my taste in wrestling at the time. Admittedly I was a bit of a flips and stiff kick snob but going to those shows and seeing what worked with that audience was a real eye opener.
  6. What's up everyone? I just wanted to say I'm really glad you all have enjoyed the show and thank you for the kind words. I saw how well received Kris' first two shows were so I was nervous going into it but Kris and Rob are so good and the conversation and memories just flowed. It was a lot of fun to look back at that time period. What I was hoping for and has happened is a lot of you would have the same reverence for it that we did. Like Kris mentioned I'm sure we'll end up doing a follow up show down the road on this because there was so much that we could talk about. I couldn't believe when I looked at my clock and it was about 45 minutes in and we were still on CZW. Time really flew by. As Rob said on the show we really could have done a 12 hour pod haha. As for the Ki-Dragon match with Steamboat as ref.. no we didn't get to that one. I think we went with the Super 8 match due to it being their first meeting and the King of the Indies match due to that show being the precursor to Ring of Honor. And yeah thanks Timbo, I cant say enough great things about the Bucks. Any team who has a motto of the more you hate us the more flips we're going to do is alright in my book
