  1. That's what I thought, I thought they called an audible and went home
  2. In storyline why is McMahon heeling against McAfee?
  3. I would imagine he has alot of 3rd party options available more than most talents on the roster in WWE probably ever. Didn't they have a meeting this weekend about talent using 3rd party projects? You gotta believe He and probably Toni Storms OnlyFans had something to do with that
  4. I agree with you but it's WWE he could easily end up like Bret in WCW where he's one or the top paid guys but not books as though he is such. Reading that variety article, he knows his worth and he came in on his own terms. It's WWE, its an uphill battle to keep Vinces attention. Unless your Brock, Roman, Ronda ,Becky or Charlotte you'll have and uphill battle staying at the top of WWEs priority list. He's a much bigger star and a better wrestler than when he left and he grabbed the brass ring although he had to leave the company to do so. It's so difficult to make yourself a star in WWE on your own and he did it
  5. It's closer to Survivor 03 type booking with the Heyman trope of him Swerving his client. It felt like that turn was supposed to happen at day one. I don't havea problem with Roman and Brock at WrestleMania but I don't think he had to be in one to win the Rumble though. I didn't see a problem with Ronda winning the Rumble but Obviously I'm probably the only one because everyone else seemed deflated when she won and I think having Charlotte in it as Champ really hurt the match. Edge means well, He's going to spend the rest of his career trying to attone for being the TLC guy by feeling the need to go over 20 minutes in order for him to feel he had a good match. That's the 2000s HHH train of thought
  6. Is Seth a Babyface outside of this feud?
  7. From mid 07 to 09 was really cool to see him get another run as a serious monster heel, especially at that stage in his career. Smackdown and ECW had a nice crew of big men and nonsters that could go. Big Show, Undertaker even Kane. Mark Henry had finally reached his full potential a around then. All them were great opponents for Batista.
  8. I'm not going to lie, I'm surprised at how many guys like the Acclaimed and Dante Martin that weren't these super worker indie darlings getting featured and getting the chance to get over. At the same time, I don't have a problem with former WWE coming in to AEW because most of them haven't peeked yet and more importantly most of them don't feel like they got signed because they were former WWE talent like TNA felt like. Alot of these talent deserve a chance to try to get over the way they didn't get too in WWE. It's wrestling though it's no guarantee you will get over no matter how much you try.
  9. Nick Khan I believe really changed the focus of the company away from signing guys to spite these other companies. I'm sure WWE is going to continue to do other petty things to undercut these other promotions but all these mass releases especially the ones of guys they thoroughly invested in , They aren't using their budget to keep guys out of other promotions. I'm nor saying WWE isn't worried about these other promotions catching up but Certainly Nick Khan isn't and it's more of a priority to save money on personnel at the moment. AEW is struggling to get a million and I think what bigger name could AEW have that's bigger than CM Punk who is as big a name than anybody on the WWE roster unless they were to get Rock or Austin. If they can't draw a million with Punk , Bryan and Cole all coming in around the same time then I could see Khan telling Vince stop focusing on competition busy pointing to that reason. I honestly want AEW to ge well over a million and I wouldn't be surprised if it does in the next year
  10. Jesse had the Promo skills, Astetics and the presence to make up for his lack of workrate. I don't think Graves is bad but I don't think he any special either. Also with , Daniel Bryan admitting that he lied about the concussion issues could this be a move to validate their wellness policy?
  11. It will be interesting to see if he would want to continue to steer the ship of NXT because foe the most part you are going to be working with more raw talent and even the experienced guys, the company will be more inclined to move them to the main roster quicker rather than keep certain guys around just to keep tv strong. Unless they are able to push out some really exceptional talent to the main roster, it's good to be difficult for Hunter and company to gain the confidence of people like the Wrestling journalists it seems he had been trying to win over. The previous system had Hunter very in tune with the Wrestling scene outside of WWE, he even had people like Regal who was even more in tune. Now in a sense they have to turn off that side of the brain and go back to the mentality of the cookie cutter look of Talent
  12. It seems HHH is still very low key as far as his status and role with the company at the moment but assuming and hopefully he fully recovers for his health issues, Do you think he would resume his same executive duties he's had from before or do you think he'd be more Stephanie and have more of a PR type role. I would imagine Shawn would rather have Hunter back helping him. Pretty much all Hunter's guys are gutted out and I'm sure Shawn wasn't prepared to have to really head creative of NXT.

    WWE DAY ONE

I'm thinking the same thing. I'm hoping to see some good interactions between Lashley and Lesnar considering Lashley has been trying to work himself into a feud with Lesnar since he came back to WWE in '18
