Someone on DVDVR mentioned this, but fuck, WWE has a great collection of heels right now.

I think they have a pretty strong array of faces too: Cena, ADR, Jericho, BD/Kane, Ryback, Mysterio/Cara, Sheamus, Orton, Rock. with Miz, Kofi, Santino, Clay/Tensai and whoever I'm forgetting under them.

Watched it on Youtube. Shit, people are STILL doing the annoying as fuck WHAT chant ? That's unbearable.

Anyway, the promo left me completely cold, it's run of the mill dated racist stuff. It was okay I guess, but really nothing special at all. Of course, in the context of current WWE, maybe it seemed fresh and really good, but after going through years of Mantell in SMW, not impressive at all.

It might be run-of-the-mill, but it ain't dated unfortunately. Come to Kentucky. You hear that shit all the time here.

Yeah, I would guess, sadly.

I was thinking strictly as a wrestling angle. Not compelling stuff to me. Mantell can be so much better than this.

Guest Nell Santucci

The latest Observer mentions that William Regal tweeted that WWE is interested in the World of Sport library. I would be interested if there would any "save our British heritage" campaign if this heads to the advantaged stages.

WWE made a public announcement today that they would no longer fund rehab treatment for Tammy Sytch, which is believed to be the first time the company has done so for any previously contracted talent.

Sytch had blasted WWE in an interview with Sean Oliver of Kayfabe Commentaries claiming the company had for an expensive rehab facility, but once Linda McMahon lost the senate election, moved her to a far cheaper facility. She claimed that she asked WWE to move her to a better place due to the bad conditions, and brought up how much they spent on Scott Hall, she claimed she was told, "Well, you're not Scott Hall."

A story on the DVD is at http://www.cagesideseats.com/videos/2013/2...nt-in-new-shoot

The WWE's statement in respoinse was: "As part of the Former Talent Rehabilitation Program, WWE has sent Ms. Sytch to rehabilitation numerous times, with all costs covered by WWE. Unfortunately, Ms. Sytch has continued to make poor personal choices and is ultimately responsible for the consequences of these decisions. WWE has always provided rehabilitation at a certified treatment center, however, given Ms. Sytch's inability to change her lifestyle and successfully complete treatment, WWE wil no longer fund her rehabilitation."

Thanks to Keith Harris

Good. She is a shameless crack whore who needs to be on a lot of psychiatric meds and have therapy for her obvious borderline personality disorder. I can't believe she feels entitled to the WWE paying for her bill time and time again, much less to blast the company. I've felt the same way about Scott Hall, but it is the WWE's choice at the end of the day on what they want to do with him.

I have a feeling you don't know what those words mean and just heard them on Maury or something.

Thanks for your medical opinion, Doc. Even if we take what you say at face value about meds and therapy, why are you cheering the decision to cut her off from such treatment?

I can't believe she feels entitled to the WWE paying for her bill time and time again, much less to blast the company.

The company put it in writing that they would fund such treatments for ex-talent. She's taking advantage of what was offered by her former employer in an attempt to fight her addictions and improve her life. What a bitch.

If what she is saying that WWE is cutting expenses in this area simply because Linda lost the election and there's no longer a political upside to doing it, then she has a right to be upset.

Also, tell me the difference between her situation and Scott Hall's other than Hall is HHH's old running buddy.

I'm not even a fan of Tammy's really, but there was a whole lot of "wow" in that post.

I'm pretty sure Tammy isn't blowing guys for crack, hence "crack whore." That's an ECW crowd chant, not a diagnosis. She does have a long history of alcohol and pill abuse, however. And I'm not buying into the whole "heartless WWE" here. How many times are they expected to pay for anyone's rehab before it's time to say enough. I know that Vince does it mainly for good PR, but that shouldn't erase the fact that it's a good policy. Again, there comes a point where there's only so much a company can do. And the whole "You're not Scott Hall" and "the election is over" is stuff coming from her on yet another shoot interview DVD where she has a history of bullshitting. I hope she can eventually get clean and get her life together, but I'd take anything she says with a grain of salt.

The problem with Tammy is that she cried wolf too many times now. She admited to having lied her ass off in every interview she did. Why would anyone believe her now ? So :

_she is lying, and she kinda deserves to be dropped for bashing the WWE who aren't obligated to take care of her (for all the fuck ups, guys like Roberts & Hall haven't bashed the WWE while being taken care of).

_she's telling the truth, and she fucked herself by being a pathological lyer in the past, as nobody will believe her this time around.

I mean, that's the problem when you are labelled as a lyer. And I know the issue, as I have dealt with people like that. After a while, you give them the benefit of the doubt for so long until you reach the point of just not believing a word they say. Tammy has reached that point sadly. She sure needs help, and hopefully she find it somewhere, and I don't mean religion either.

Good Lord.

One doesn't have to squint too hard to see Punk parallels: WWE's acknowledgement that Cena, the institutional champ, wasn't expanding the audience, along with Punk's embrace by an insurgent fan base, begat WWE's realization that there was money to be made by giving them what they wanted.

He says, as Punk works underneath as champion, turns away viewers and is the lowest-rated champion in Raw history. The parallel between him and Bruno's run on top drawing out the ass as a babyface is plain as day.

In a decade or two, I wouldn't be surprised if Punk is reluctant to accept the WWE's invitation into the Hall, standing strong on the moral grounds of whatever perceived disrespect or institutional wrongheadedness suits him. And eventually he'll accept their invitation, because they'll really need him, or vice versa.

Because wrestling is real and Punk really feels disrespected.

Vomit at this garbage.
