Okay, take a look at this. The idea is a database of wrestlers, promotions, matches, feuds and so on. It's run in a "wiki", which allows people to update pages themselves. Basically, if you have anything to add, then you just... add it.

Currently there's no resrictions on who can edit pages, other than being logged in, but it's possible to "roll back" pages if there's abuse.

Basically, it'd be awesome if you all added your own information, match reviews, and so on to the site. There's a very basic guide to adding stuff on there, with more detail here.

I added on of Loss' reviews so that you can get an idea of the format (I was at work, so I had more access to his work than my own - thanks Loss!)

Oh - when you register, it asks for a passcode. This is intentionally blank. You only need to add your e-mail address for if you forget your password. And so I can sell it to spam people ;)

Any ideas and suggestions would be great.
Loss
This is the best thing EVAR~!
Dazed
Hmmm... something of an underwhelming response. Any particular reason why? I'm guessing that it's something to do with the lack of content already up there? Or the pain in the arse that it is to get content up there?

If people prefer to, you could submit biographies of wrestler's careers, promotions, gimmick matches and so on here, and I'll upload them for you?

Don't let this die! It has potential.
Loss
Oh, I'm extremely excited about this. Conceivably, everything from really great message board threads to title histories to resources to Observer ratings to other ratings to whatever other category we want to create can be added. I think it's a great thing. I just haven't been able to commit to it yet.
Loss
I'm stuck on the pass code thing. Am I supposed to make one up or is it supposed to give me one? Because I tried making one up and it told me it was incorrect.
Dazed
It's blank. Don't put anything in there.
Loss
Is there a way to make the star ratings show up properly?
Dazed
I'm looking into that - it seems that *** is some sort of reserved code in the software that it uses.

I'm also looking into alternative software now, that one was only used as it came pre-installed with my hosting. I'm not keen on this particular one, as there's not many options and it's a little awkward to get to grips with.
Dazed

Okay, totally changed the software around. The new stuff is much more flexible. Click here for the main page. This is an example of what can be done, in basic terms.

Is there an interest in this? Looking for articles / reviews / biographies / anything.

I definitely like the potential of this thing. It seems like a self-sustaining article manager that could be a great organizer for a future archive center.
Dazed
Okay, this is the sort of thing I was looking to include for each major feud / match. More details / reviews / background / etc can be included (notice the background is totally blank, and the bullrope match hasn't been added yet)
goodhelmet
I like it. If you want to be accurate with the order of the timeline. Tim cooke wrote the review. He then destroyed SK's recap. Then I wrote mine, followed by Some Guy and Loss.
Some Guy
Who wrote the WCW vs. WWF article?
goodhelmet
I was wondering the same thing
Some Guy
I was going to edit my last post because I forgot to mention that GH is right and Tim's revies of JBL/Eddy should go first.

Then feel free to edit the page and move things around!

I *think* it was Meltzer that wrote the article, but I could be wrong. If anyone has anything similar, can you PM them to me or post them here or update the site yourself...
Some Guy
Beleive me, you don't want me trying to fix the site. I'll end up deleting it or something.

It's fine - there's a rollback feature to counter things like that. Plus a preview button :)
