They show clip of fan video of Watts signing an autograph at a gas station in Charlotte. Arn shows up in Zubaz pants and goes to beat him up. Watts ends up getting him in the STF and the cops show up quickly and arrest both guys. Watts does an okay promo addressing this. This angle felt really desperate, but Arn was really good in it.

Kind of creepy that the dad was telling his daughter to give Erik Watts a big kiss. Oh, before everyone has camera phones and everything shows up on the internet. This guy carries around a video camera at a gas station. Watts putting the STF on Arn was pretty funny in the setting.

I wonder whose daughter that was. (No, no, NO, I'm just curious!) Arn shows up during an impromptu autograph session and makes good on his promise to confront Watts away from the arena. This is actually a cool brawl until we get the absurd sight of Watts slapping on the STF in the middle of a gas station. Police break things up while Arn sells like his leg has been amputated.

Watts, much like Marge Simpson, is thankful that everyone is videotaping everyone else, so that justice will be done. Erik Watts: Champion of the NSA. Watts cuts a stilted, awkward promo in response. This is lame on almost every level.

Clips of Watts signing an autograph for a little girl, when Arn in his finest Zubaz attacks him. Watts of course turns the tables and him in in the STF at a gas station before police break it up. Watts gives a dumb promo afterwards. Arn Anderon may not be able to make chicken salad out of everything, but he's going to try his best.

This worked totally the wrong way. Arn should have laid Erik out Horseman-style, really roughed him up. Then there would have been some juice behind the feud when it inevitably went into the ring. As it is, what's the point? Much like Shawn Michaels against Marty Jannetty, Erik has effectively settled the issue, at least to my satisfaction.

If we see Arn again at any time before summer (which I know we will), this angle was a waste. The STF is a devastating enough hold in the ring; applying it in a gravel and concrete parking lot after slamming a car door on the already injured victim's leg should mean non-arthroscopic knee surgery, a recovery time of at least six months, and doubt as to whether the victim will ever walk properly again let alone wrestle, even if the victim is Arn Anderson. What's the matter with just a shoving match or a brief fistfight if you don't want to do the beatdown I described above?

The place where they filmed actually seemed like a real gas station, so give them credit for that much at least. If it was, I wonder what the owner got in exchange for allowing them to use his or her place?
