So in the meantime I came up with this idea. It is an american version of the AJPW RWTL. I know that contradicts the use of the word world but it is just for fun anyway. I will do one and if people like it I will do another and so on. Since I am an old timers fan we are starting with 1986. The tournament will begin thanksgiving night and end on Christmas night. The rules are a round robin tourney with 2 points for victory,1 point for a draw, 0 points for loss/double dq/co. 12 teams which means 11 cards. Teams are decided with 4 spots going to wwf, 4 to nwa crocket, 4 independents. For this year the independants will be 2 from awa and 2 from mid south. Each card will also have 3 matches involving title matches from the 4 promotions involved though not against each other. The 12 teams are as followed: 1. British Buldogs 2. Dream Team (valentine/beefcake) 3. Hart Foundation 4. Rougeous 5. Road Warriors 6. Andersons 7. Midnight Express (eaton/condrey) 8. Rock n Roll Express 9. Freebirds (hayes/roberts) 10. Fantastics 11.
