Chyna ? Triple H's former girlfriend ? Who made those porn videos including one where's she gangbanged by guys dressed up as John Cena and Mean Gene ? Really ?

Sounds more entertaining than Raw has been in the past year...

I'm almost not kidding either. :\

As far as I'm concerned, Bruno getting in has made anything possible. It's a small one but I'd say she has a chance of getting in. Triple H did say some positive things about how she got over in his official WWE doc from a few years ago. Maybe when her porn career is long forgotten and everyone's a little older and mellower it could happen.

Wouldn't letting a former full-time pornstar in the Hall of Fame be a PR disaster?

In this internet age, you can't erase stuff like this. In a matter of a few minutes anyone can access to videos of Chyna getting fucked by two (or more) guys. So yeah. There's no way she's getting in, if only because of this.

And quite frankly, Chyna sucked back then too.

Okay, maybe the Hall of Fame is out, but in general reference to her relationship with the company, I can see how possibly time could be a healer in that situation. Then again I did just glance her Twitter and she put up a rather negative response to something Stephanie said about the wellness program. So maybe not.

They put in Mike Tyson and he's a convicted rapist. I don't think a couple of pornos would be the reason she wouldn't go in.

On the Luger talk, I could be totally 1000% wrong on this, but I always felt that, for whatever reason, Vince held a serious grudge with Luger about the death of Miss Elizabeth. Now, obviously, she was a grown woman, who made her own decisions, and Luger was just the guy she was shacking with when she truly spiraled out of control...but I just always inferred that Vince, just as he had been very close to Randy, was equally "in love" with Miss Elizabeth (paternally almost?) and when she passed the way she did, Vince placed the blame squarely on Lex, for not protecting her.

Contrarily, I don't think Vince blames anyone but the wrestler themselves, whether it was Test or Brian Adams or Rude or Pillman, for their deaths and certainly doesn't accept any responsibility himself...but Liz? She was the "First Lady of Wrestling," pure, innocent, etc.

Again, I'm talking out of my ass about this and have no clue how Vince actually feels about Luger or Liz today (I know there was that WWE Confidential thing a decade ago), it's just, in the words of a mighty, mighty bosstone, the impression that I get.

Anyone second me on the feeling or am I way wrong entirely?

Hasn't Luger been on the WWE payroll since 2011 as a wellness counselor? And he's interviewed in tons of things for the network including the Savage Blu-Ray. I don't think there is any grudge at all.

I think at the time of the Confidential thing, McMahon still could have been sore about Lex going to WCW behind his back. I think Luger got into his good graces again only recently, he was invited to the last WM in Atlanta which would have been in 2011, presumably right before they hired him as a wellness counselor. I don't know if that necessarily will mean he's HOF material, as I don't think his legacy has been celebrated too much. Even on the "Legends of Wrestling" programs, the panelists had at best, a lukewarm view of his in-ring work.

But weren't all of those taped before 2011, when Lex was presumably still on the "outs"?

The Confidential thing is weird, and either a sign of a grudge or a desperate ratings grab by just letting Scheme Gene be Scheme Gene. Wasn't that the first episode? If so, all the more reason to be extra sensationalistic.

Haha, " it's BS" . Bro, what're you smoking? :)

So, Chyna wasn't a major part of the WWE during the Attitude era?

She certainly had a bigger impact than Koko B. Ware, who was a perennial jobber. (I liked him, but let's get real here.) I won't pick on James Dudley, who I honestly know nothing about. Doubt he was just a limo driver though.

Anyway, it's just annoying how Chyna's role in DX has been erased from history - almost like she's Benoit 2.0. That is BS. Just because she wasn't Lou Thesz doesn't mean she deserves to be deleted from existence.

She's deleted because she's a train wreck addict who's mentally ill. You really think they should find her under whatever overpass or dive motel she's living in currently and drag her out on the stage?

I hate the stupid talking point - parroted by Jericho, who should really know better, and others - that Demolition were "rip-offs" of the Road Warriors. Other than superficial similarities, they were very different acts IMO.

But they were. So were Powers of Pain, the Blade Runners, and a shitload of other teams. It had nothing to do with working style.

Yeah. I think Demolition were a fair to good team who carved out a half decent reputation in their own right, but they were so clearly LOD rip-offs in their inception. To deny that is just odd. You can easily argue that they rose above being saddled with a cheesy rip off gimmick and became a decent team in their own right. But I don't see any valid arugment for them not being an LOD rip-off initially.

Makes me think: a lot of wrestling stuff was taken from the Mad Max movies. Lord Humungus the character, his mask for Demolition (and their gear), The Road Warriors, Dusty Rhodes trying to make a "Thunderdome," etc.

This year a new Mad Max movie, Fury Road comes out. Maybe someone will try to get some inspiration from that film? I have high expectations for it & I'm a Tom Hardy fan, so here's to hoping!

Vince is a complex person, but I can't imagine him caring that much about someone who hadn't worked for him in over a decade. Luger jumped to WCW to kick off the Monday Night Wars and the Confidential piece was his receipt.

Moreover, for someone who is so focused on his own body and at one point was so focused on Lex, for him to end up like this:

or worse, you sort of have to wonder what Vince feels. My guess is that he's not in the HOF for the same reason a lot of guys are not in: he's not in a physical condition that WWE wants to show off to the world on a stage like that. Someone like Hillbilly Jim, on the other hand, is neither dead nor crippled nor sporting a big criminal record. A guy like that is exactly who they want to focus on on a corporate level. When you add in the loyalty of working for the company for years and years and the fact he was in the cartoon, you have to wonder why he's not already in.
