Wrestlemania XXXII Early, Early (did I say early?) Predictions

Bit of fun, can we take anything away from last night and get an idea for Dallas?

Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Mixed Tag Match: The Rock and Ronda Rousey vs. Triple H and Stephanie McMahon

The Undertaker vs. John Cena

Brock Lesnar vs. Daniel Bryan

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins vs. Dean Ambrose

With Hogan taking a bump last night and seemingly moving around better, is it possible they'd do the Cena match?

Maybe.

But this would absolutely be Hogan's retirement match if so. Can you imagine XXXII being headlined by 2 or even 3 retirement matches (we've got Taker's, almost certain about that... but what if Austin comes back for one more or Sting decides that he's having one final curtain call?)

The card in this event would draw, but does WWE really want what has the potential to be the biggest Mania of all time being headlined by multiple retirement matches featuring guys who can only-just "still go"? What would that say about their newer talent?

Not much has been said about HHH bumping for Rousey last night. Showed more ass for her than he did for Sting. HHH vs Rock surely has no appeal to anyone, they ran the match dozens of times when both were in their physical prime.

If The Rock is working a match he should be elevating a modern superstar or appearing in a never before seen dream match.

and frankly, anything involving the rock and ronda rousey WOULD be that "never before seen dream match" even with HHH in there. she has serious donald trump potential.

but yes, i am fully expecting next year's mania to be full of old people and celebrities. if they could swing that mixed tag, taker-sting, hogan-cena, and an austin match...

not that i expect all of that, but it's going to be much more of an "old over new" show than this one was.

I get the feeling that Reigns will get the belt at Summerslam and will face Cena for the title at Mania next year. It would be the company's clone of Hogan vs Warrior. It's not a main event the fans would want but Vince probably thinks it would draw.

Rousey/ Rock vs Stephanie and Triple H would be money if Dana White allows her to do it.

As for Brock, I wouldn't be surprised Batista comes back after shooting the Bond film.

Hmm, Diva wise, I could see something involving Paige and Charlotte or Sasha Banks. I reckon AJ is on the way out, the Bellas kind of only work when they are in tandem, to that end, I see Charlotte and Sasha being called up within the next few months. Hell, one may even debut tonight.

Talking about Brock/Batista, could Batista even handle working against Lesnar at his age (Big Dave might be older than billed, some have said he was born in 1966, rather than 1969) and lack of training for in ring performances over these past few years. I don't doubt it would be a decent match, provided Dave could keep up with Brock.

Rock & Rousey v. HHH & Steph has such HUGE box office potential........I really really really hope it happens

UFC was obviously ok with Rousey doing this angle.......which is kind of crazy because nothing like this has ever happened before......she's got a big fight in Brazil coming up and then a possible fight with Cyborg later in the year if Santos can make weight. I feel like if the Cyborg fight actually happens (and I expect Ronda to destroy that woman) that that would be her "retirement" fight and she would go have a pro-wrestling match and then go off and do movies or whatever she wants to do after MMA

I'm a huge MMA fan and a huge Rousey fan and (obv) a huge wrestling fan......so the idea of this actually happening is super cool to me

On the WM pre-show they sorta teased Lita&Trish v. The Bellas.....which would also be awesome

Obviously Taker will have his last match at this show and I hope it's against Cena. It kinda has to be Cena. That's a big time dream match that we've never really seen before. I think it might have happened in the 02-03 era on a random SD.....but nobody remembers it and Cena wasn't Cena then. I've been wanting to see this as a WM match for years and this is the last chance for it

Way too early to predict anything for the meat of the roster. No idea what to predict for Brock either. Could they hold off on the Brock-Roman rematch for an entire year? If so....that match would be huge

Rousey & Rock vs. HHH & Stephanie would be tremendous. Only thing that would make it better would be to have Bruce Buffer announce Rousey to the ring.

They need to make sure they're able to have 'Bad Reputation' as her entrance theme as well.

Not what they will do, but what I would love to see.

Rusev defends WWE Title against Brock Lesnar

3-Way Ladder #1 Contenders Match between Rollins, Reigns & Ambrose

Undertaker's retirement match against Luke Harper

IC & US Title Unifcation match Cena vs Bryan

Then just add Cesaro, Zayn and Titus into respectable matches and I am sold.

Rock/Rousey vs. Steph/HHH

Hogan/Cena vs. Taker/Austin (all four retire)

Brock vs. Daniel Bryan (WWE Championship)

Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns (US Championship)

Sami Zayn vs. Seth Rollins (IC Title Ladder Match)

Dean Ambrose/Dolph Ziggler vs. Tyson Kidd/Cesaro (Tag Titles)

Sasha Banks vs. Paige (Divas)

Andre The Giant Battle Royal

Mainly just for optimum marquee value. You could probably have Sting or someone there but I think the match loses a lot of its luster.

My master plan is Cena going complete heel, refusing to retire afterwards, and re-imagining his character when he is allowed to due to other stars being built up throughout the rest of the card.

Yeah Meltz says they want Rousey v Steph. It's basically up to Dana as Rousey and the company have already signed off. I'm sure people will love the inevitable Steph training videos and her squashing the lower tier divas with MMA moves but I can't imagine how much airtime this will get. The fact that Steph and HHH will be pushed ever harder for the next year might be enough for me to tune out if only for a little while
