Is the WWE HOF class of 2018 the weakest one yet?

I don't think I'll even watch this year. I guess Goldberg is the anchor inductee? Im not a supporter but I get why they're inducting him. I guess they're running out of big inductees. The Rock and Undertaker are really the only two they have left in the bank until Cena retires. The Dudleys deserve it but I can think of a couple that should/could go in before them. Double JJ was midcard unless you count dying WCW and TNA. Hillbilly Jim is a nice guy but HOF is a stretch. Ivory seems like a token inductee.

They may struggle for proper headliners in the future but there's a ton of midcard guys they can use to fill out spots. I'd guess we'll get Undertaker next year and I'm sure HHH in the near future as well. Maybe even Shane as a headliner when his current TV run winds up.

A guy like Kane or Big Show could headline. Once Hunter goes in, DX can go in as a headliner after him. NWO/Wolfpack can go in as headliner. Vince can go in. Jericho can headline. I'd argue that Sid could potentially headline if they're desperate. Hart Foundation could POTENTIALLY headline, especially in Canada. There's always Daniel Bryan. Mark Henry could in Texas but not really anywhere else. Brock at some point.

Yeah. They were trying to get Warrior for Arizona. DiBiase may seem like a weak headliner, but the guy's got a recognizable name and a timeless gimmick. People still remember him, rappers name-drop him, etc. I think that year just suffered from a thinner field due to them really stacking the deck and overloading on headliner acts for the Hall in those first few years after they brought it back. It's like they were trying to make up for lost time & overcompensating by just piling everybody into the club as quickly as possible.

Going by past classes, the headliner is always someone with either a good deal of mainstream name recognition or an extended run as a main eventer, preferably both. Looking at prospective future inductees, Rock, HHH, Undertaker, Jericho, Cena, Lesnar, Bryan, and Orton fit the bill for sure. Possibly CM Punk as well since WWE loves to push whenever a prodigal son returns to the fold. I don't think Vince will headline (although if any non-wrestler deserves it, it's him) because he probably won't be inducted until after he dies and they don't like featuring deceased individuals as headliners.

I don't think we can begin to imagine how they are going to celebrate Vince when he dies. They'll make one of those statues of him but it'll be in the middle of the ring for every match in the company from now on and instead of pinfalls, you win by making your opponent kiss his ass.

Sorry for yelling, I just wish a physical and non promotion affiliated Hall and museum would trump a newsletters where its all on someones hard drive with no formal inductions and I wonder if inductees even know they are in it!

my looked WON HOF the list is more akin to what I see a legit HOF based on who is is it and on the PWHOF who is not in it i even done a topic my personal HOF and it slightly more akin to WON Than PWHOF is

FYI, here is EXACTLY why I think things with actual ceremonies or physical locations are more legit than someone's hard drive.

A thread I had years ago, pre Twitter/Facebook, when I was drumming up support for a Hall of Fame for my favorite sports franchise to be voted for by various corners of the internet community of fans of that team. And yes I would have reached out to writers and historians and the like as well:
