gordi
The finish to Rod Price vs The Missing Link got a laugh out of me. Candido vs Huber sounds like an exciting match. Long Riders vs Nasties should be intense.
SirEdger
Very happy to see Chris Candido doing well in that tournament. Looks like being under the tutelage of Percy Pringle is doing wonders for him!
kevinmcfl
This tournament has a lot of big names with so many possibilities. Looking forward to the next round
spaldoni
Great first round. It looked like Lance and Jimmy Jack were the brawl of the night. Young guns like Hall, Price, Candido and Simpson had strong wins. Of course watch out for the vet of the bunch, Mr. Wrestling 2. Cant wait for Long Riders and Nasty Boys. SirEdger
Couldn't have picked a better Wild West Heavyweight Champion than Scott Hall! Gonna be awfully hard to beat!
spaldoni
I agree, Scott Hall is a great choice for champ in this setting. This will give him some great exposure and experience. Dusty Rhodes in his corner and stopping Pringle must of tore the roof off the bar. Man, I'm hoping for more Long Riders/Nasty Boy brawls. kevinmcfl
I love when I read this shows and find myself rooting for someone. That was the case here and is always caused by great booking. I am glad Scott Hall got the win here.

dawho5
Fun card but I could never get behind the fake Funk vs. fake Von Erich feud.
SirEdger
Wild West Wrestling is the perfect environment for a team like The Nasty Boys. Glad they're getting some gold!

spaldoni
Oh Snap! Nasty Boys win the titles with a piledriver on the bar! That might be the craziest finish to a title match I've seen on here. Then Jimmy Jack and Lance Von Erich follow that with a bullrope match! Only at Billy Bob's. LowBlowPodcast
As someone who has wrestled in a bar... and done a spot on top of the bar... I have a great appreciation for that spot and the finish for the Nasties... great stuff.

SirEdger
I kinda dig Johnny Ace in Wild West Wrestling. Could go some interesting directions with him. Great first title defense for Scott Hall!
gordi
"make like Michael Jackson and beat it!" is a great 80s reference!
dawho5
Missing Link getting frustrated is good. Hall is a really good developmental champ in 86.
spaldoni
Scott Hall with a strong title defense. Jimmy Jack was a great pick to be Hall's first challenger. I'm liking this Candido/Regal story. "Make like Michael Jackson and beat it" LOL another great line. I'll say it again, The Nasty Boys are such great champs for this environment.
