Sunday Night Heat on the Network

I wouldn't mind checking out some of those earlier episodes, back when the show was relevant and still story-driven with major angles. I know the wrestling itself wouldn't hold up, but it'd still be fun to relive that stuff. I know the later years had better matches, but I've got no interest in seeing Val Venis versus Stevie Richards #3085.

Yes, it was a good match. No, I do not need to spend ten minutes of my free time reexamining it. :D

I really hope the off air segments make the upload. Raw had so many and quite a few on Heat were filmed as highlights at times were shown on Raw so no excuses that they didnt film any.

I seriously doubt they put up anything but the shows as aired.

Keep pulling from those archives Network friends! Get to Georgia and Florida eventually!

Did we ever get word on the state of the Georgia footage they own? I figured it must have been bad if they were using what looked like YouTube rips on some of their DVDs. Then again, that doesn't make sense since they were filmed at Turner's TV station and he is known to be a preservationist.

We could have said the same thing about Raw but they suprised us there.

They were using VHS rips with disclaimers on the old 24.7 streaming service.

The Raws they uploaded have bonus footage or is the bonus footage somewhere else on the Network. Like if I throw on a Raw from 98, does it have a dark match thrown in or something?

A lot of the Attitude Era Raws have an "extra attitude" segment usually just for the live crowd to send them home happy.

Interesting, I didn't know that. Thanks. Will never watch those, but cool for those who like that stuff I guess.

I haven't watched many of the RAWs with extra footage, but I did watch the episode with Austin and Undertaker vs Kane and Mankind in the Hell in a Cell and after the show went off the air, Austin actually scored a pinfall to end the match instead of just the brawl to end the show without a finish. Kind of like how we finally saw the end of the Hart Foundation vs Strike Force from the Main Event episode, where it seems they tried to squeak the finish in before going off the air but still missed the pinfall by a minute. I like those kind of little things that would've never seen the light without the network.

Am I wrong in assuming the end of Harts/Strike Force seemed hyped as a potential hidden gem all these years? Like it had gone on for a 15-30 minute classic after the show had gone off the air?

And when you could finally see the pinfall, it was pretty much seconds after the last of the Main Event credits rolled.

Or was it just complaining about seemingly lost forever footage, no matter how insignificant the length was, or complaining that the finish was never aired, despite not being a title change?

Funny as long as I've been trading (which seems like forever), the end of that match not being available never came across my radar as being valued or important like other "lost treasures" have been mythologized over the years.

Might just be me though.
