Kris & David are joined by Jordan Breen (Between Rounds Radio) to discuss the week that was May 30-June 5, 1994. We talk about Hulk Hogan signing with WCW and the fallout from that including Cactus Jack & Maxx Payne quitting the company among other things. Of course we discuss Mitsuharu Misawa vs. Toshiaki Kawada and the greatness of their 6/3/94 match, plus we also cover Dutch Mantell reviving WWC, SMW’s ominous future, Missy Hyatt being linked with Judd Nelson(?!?!?), the WWF’s odd period in 1994, and much more.

A strong show, so don’t miss it!!!!

Bix remembering the guy who won the Mania contest and the song he won it with is just awesome.

When Stan Lane first debuted on Superstars Vince said something like "Jim Cornette, a gentleman you know very well"

The Jimmy Del Ray deal on Challenge was something where Lane and DiBiase were united in their mutual disgust of his dancing which is maybe the only good thing to happen on Wrestling Challenge in 94.

Not sure who was responsible for it but for a long period in 94 nearly all the big angles (Backlund turn, Fake Taker debut and Diesel IC win) happened on Superstars instead of Raw.

How have you not seen Aladdin?!?!

I'm about Kris' age, we were teenagers in high school when it came out. Why would we watch a kids' movie?

About the episode - Jordan is generally good but by the end of the episode he was rambling like a lunatic.

I'm older now than they were then, never seen Frozen, but I still know "Let It Go." A Whole New World was at or past that level of ubiquity in the mid-'90s.

And Robin Williams was a huge fucking deal for a big chunk of the 90s. If you had any younger siblings, that would've been a hard movie to avoid. I can only assume Kris also hasn't seen the Lion King.

Fun show from what I've heard. Breen and Bix are an entertaining combo, and Kris is maybe the best host I've heard yet for keeping things engaging but also keeping them moving.  Those 2 are kings of tangents, which is fantastic, but I understand not wanting a 10 hour pod and wanting to get thru your notes. The brawl for all special was a classic btw.
